Patients with diabetes have weak self-health management consciousness,poor self-management effect and low psychological adjustment ability.The self-management of diabetic patients needs to improve the understanding of diabetes from the physiological and psychological levels,improve the bad diet and exercise habits,learn the scientific method of self-care monitoring,learn to control their own emotions,and realize the effective control of the condition of diabetes.The influencing factors of self-management of diabetic patients mainly include the lack of attention,the thin social support network and the long treatment period of diabetic patients.Based on the theory of group motivation,small Group social work can improve the ability of diabetic patients in cognition,self-monitoring and nursing,psychological adjustment and so on,from passive management to active management,and then improve their self-management ability;at the same time,it can promote the formation of mutual supervision between patients and encourage family supervision,to ensure that patients still have the motivation to maintain good self-management behavior habits after the end of the activity.
