Objective : To discuss the effects of preoperative electroacupuncture on postoperative inflammatory factors and inflammatory responses in patients undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.method: A total of 60 patients who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery under general anesthesia in the second affiliated hospital of NanChang University from May2018 to October 2019 were randomly divided into 2 groups, with 30 patients in each group. In the experimental group(EA group,n = 30),electroacupuncture was used to continuously stimulate Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Neimadian and Xuehai acupoint for 30 min before induction of anesthesia. The control group(NE group,n=30)did not receive any special treatment.General information and intraoperative information of the patients were collected, including age,Body mass index(BMI),gender,ASA classification, operation duration, intraoperative blood loss, total infusion volume and analgesic drug dosage.Serum levels of Interleukin-6(Il-6),Creactiveprotein(CRP),and Tumornecrosis factor-a(tnf-a)were measured at four time points, they are one day before surgery(T0),two hours after surgery(T1),first day after surgery(T2),and third day after surgery(T3).The highest daily body temperature and bilateral medial knee joint skin temperature were recorded 3 days after surgery. The white blood cell(WBC)levels at T0,T2 and T3 were determined. The static VAS(Visual analogue scale)score and the number of postoperative analgesic pump compressions were observed at 4h,12 h,24h and 48 h postoperatively. The incidence of postoperative adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting and the time of first anal exhaust were recorded.Lysholm score was performed in 3 months after surgery. Results: Compared with the NE group,Il-6,CRP and TNF-a levels of EA group were significantly reduced at T1,T2 and T3(P<0.05).Compared with the NE group, the skin temperature on the operative side knee joint of EA group was significantly lower at D2 and D3(P<0.05).The skin temperature of the knee joint on the operative side was higher than that on the healthy side in both groups(P<0.05).The static VASscore of EA group at 4h and 12 h after surgery was significantly lower than that of NE group, and the total pressure of postoperative analgesia pump was reduced(P<0.05).Conclusion : Compared with the control group, the degree of postoperative inflammatory factors in the electroacupuncture treatment group was significantly reduced, and the inflammatory response was also reduced.Electroacupuncture has a certain therapeutic effect on postoperative inflammatory response in patients undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.
