Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Early Swelling And Pain After Knee Arthroscopy By The External Application Of Baiyao Gao

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Baiyao Gao in the treatment of early postoperative swelling and pain after knee arthroscopy,and to analyze and evaluate the efficacy and safety of Baiyao Gao on early swelling and pain after knee arthroscopy.Methods: The diagnosis of osteoarthritis of the knee,meniscus injury,cruciate ligament injury and knee joint loose bodies,80 cases of patients with concurrent arthroscopic knee surgery,were randomly divided into experimental group 40 cases and control group 40 cases.Two groups were treated with conventional symptomatic treatment and prevention of infection.The Baiyao Gao began first days after surgery in experimental group,on the upper edge of the patella,popliteal respectively sticking a piece of white cream all days,a total of 5 days of treatment.During the period,the Baiyao Gao was made by the department nurses and was applied to the patients.The control group was treated with ice for 48 hours after the general routine treatment.Observating the visual analogue scale(VAS)when knee bucking 45°,knee circumference,joint effusion volume and interleukin-1(IL-1)concentration in two groups.All data application statistics software SPSS17.0 processing.Results: Through data statistics,there was no statistical difference between the experimental group and the control group in age,sex and age distribution(P>0.05).The results showed that pain VAS score: third,fifth days after surgery,the difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the analgesic effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.In terms of knee circumference,the difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05)on the third,fifth day after operation,and the swelling effect in the experimental group was better than that in the control group.In terms of joint effusion and IL-1 concentration,there was a significant difference in joint fluid volume and IL-1 concentration between the experimental group and the control group on the fifth day after operation(P<0.05),and the effect of the experimental group in reducing tissue exudation and reducing inflammatory reaction was better than that in the control group.The study showed that the treatment of knee arthroscopy was better than the control group in the treatment of early swelling and pain after arthroscopy.The experimental group had 3 cases of local skin,mild itching and a few scattered papules,treated with oral chlorpheniramine and Loratadine Tablets anti allergy treatment after remission,does not affect wound healing.3 cases in the experimental group and 4 cases in the control group were slightly red and swollen,and the change was strengthened.Conclusion: Arthroscopic knee surgery is one of the main treatments for knee osteoarthritis and sports injury.It is welcomed by patients because of its minimally invasive and quick recovery.However,due to intraoperative injury,joint synovium edema and blood infiltration,the patient is prone to knee joint swelling and pain and joint effusion,which affects the postoperative recovery of the patients.Early application of external application of Baiyao Gao after arthroscopic knee surgery can significantly relieve swelling pain of knee joints,facilitate early exercise of patients and reduce complications such as knee adhesion,stiffness and muscle atrophy.Baiyao Gao belongs to the traditional Chinese medicine traditional medicine experience,the curative effect is exact,the toxic side reaction is small,the clinical operation is simple,convenient,economical,and the patient is easy to accept.
