Objective: To understand the clinical nurses' perceived social support and emotional intelligence and work engagement in two grade a hospitals in Xinjiang;The effects of demographic data on nurses' perceived social support,emotional intelligence and work engagement were analyzed.To explore the mediating role of emotional intellige nce in perceived social support and work engagement.Methods: Adopt cross-sectional study design.A total of 428 clinical nurses from tw o grade-a hospitals in a city of Xinjiang from March 2019 to August 2019 were se lected as the research subjects by convenient sampling.Nurses were surveyed using general information questionnaire,emotional intelligence scale,perceived social supp ort scale and work engagement scale.SPSS20.0 Epi Data is adopted to establish the d atabase,application software on the sample frequency,average and poor standard de scriptive index calculation,in order to understand the fundamental properties of the samples are investigated,an independent samples t test,single factor ANOVA genera l demographic information nurses' perceived social support,emotional intelligence an d work engagement is ever differences;Correlation analysis and regression analysis w ere used to understand the relationship between social support,emotional intelligenc e and work engagement.Confirmatory factor analysis,common method deviation test,and model establishment and test were performed using Mplus7.0.Results: 1.The average score of perceived social support of nurses was(5.08±1.09),which was at a medium level.There were statistically significant differences in the scores of nurses' job involvement among different ages,educational background,mo nthly income and health status(P < 0.05).The average score of emotional intelligenc e was(3.52±0.70),which was at a medium level.The scores of emotional intelligenc e of nurses with different age,education background and health status were signific antly different(P < 0.05).The average score of work engagement was(3.09±1.23),which was at a medium level.There were statistically significant differences in the s cores of nurses' work engagement among different ages,health status and job titles(P < 0.05).2.There was a significant positive correlation between all dimensions of perceived s ocial support and job involvement,with a correlation coefficient between 0.34 and 0.93.There was a significant positive correlation between each dimension of emotional intelligence and work engagement,with a correlation coefficient between 0.35 and0.89.There was a significant positive correlation between perceived social support an d emotional intelligence,with a correlation coefficient between 0.30 and 0.53.3.The results of multi-factor logistic regression showed that nurses' perceived social support and emotional intelligence had positive effects on work engagement and its dimensions.4.The structural equation model shows that emotional intelligence plays a partial m ediating role in perceiving social support and work engagement,and the mediating effect accounts for 60.9% of the total effect.Concludes:1.The overall level of clinical nurses' perceived social support,emotional intelligence and work engagement should be improved.2.Perceived social support,emotional intelligence and work engagement were positiv ely correlated in clinical nurses.3.Clinical nurses' perceived social support and emotional intelligence had positive eff ects on work engagement.
