Objective:To investigates the relationship between occupational stress, comprehension of social support, resilience and compassion fatigue by investigating the work pressure of oncology nurses, perceived social support, resilience and compassion fatigue, and explores work stress, perceived social support and resilience. The path of compassion fatigue provides a theoretical basis for alleviating the fatigue of oncology nurses and improving the quality of nursing, and at the same time,in order to provide reference for hospital nursing managers.Method:This research is a cross-sectional study.226 oncology nurses from two tertiary general hospitals and one oncology hospital in Nanchang City were selected as research subjects. The questionnaire was used to investigate work pressure, perceived social support, resilience and compassion fatigue of oncology nurses. The questionnaires used included the general information questionnaire of the oncology nurses, the Chinese nurses work stress source scale, the perceived social support scale, the resilience scale, and the Chinese version of the compassion fatigue short scale.Statistical analysis of data was performed using SPSS 22.0 and Amos 23.0 software. The main statistical methods included descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test,one-way ANOVA,pearson correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and structural equation modeling.Result:1.The total occupational pressure of the oncology nurses(90.58±13.45),the average score of the items(2.59±0.38),the scores of the dimensions from high to low, workload and time allocation, working environment and resources, nursing profession and work, patient care, management and interpersonal relationship;perceived social support total score(49.55±10.79),and the scores were equally divided(4.13±0.90).The two dimensions were divided into high-low to intra-family support and extra-family support;the total score of resilience(58.90±12.55),the items were equally divided(2.36±0.50),and the three dimensions were ranked from high to low as self-strengthening,toughness and optimism;the total score of compassion fatigue(42.01±19.66),and the items were equally divided(3.23±1.51),the two dimensions are divided into high-low to burnout and secondary trauma.2.The scores of occupational stress of oncology nurses in the age, professional title, affiliation and monthly income were statistically different(P<0.05);the scores of the perceived social support in terms of age, marital status and affiliation were statistically different(P<0.05).The scores of resilience in terms of age, education, professional title, position, working years, monthly night shift, affiliation, and monthly income were statistically different(P<0.05);The scores of compassion fatigue in gender, age, work for age were statistically different(P < 0.05).3.Work environment and instrument score, patient care score, nurse occupa-tional stress total score and secondary trauma score were positively correlated(P<0.05);nurse occupational stress total score and each dimension score and burnout score, compassion fatigue scores were positively correlated(P<0.05);family support scores, comprehension of social support scores, total scores of compassion fatigue and scores of each dimension were negatively correlated(P<0.01);toughness scores, reliance score, optimistic score and total score of resilience were negatively correlated with total score of compassion fatigue and scores of each dimension(P<0.01).4.Age,family exogenous support, nursing professional and work stress,self-reliance have a predictive effect on compassion fatigue;age,self-reliance,patient care stress has a predictive effect on secondary trauma;working years, nursing profession and work Pressure,self-reliance,family endogenous support, workload and time allocation pressure have predictive effects on burnout.5.Structural equation model shows that occupational pressure has a direct positive predictive effect on empathic fatigue(?=0.238,P<0.001);comprehension of social support has a direct negative predictive effect on compassion fatigue(?=-0.248,P< 0.01);resilience has a direct negative predictive effect on compassion fatigue(?=-0.180,P<0.01).Comprehension of social support plays a partial intermediary role in the path of occupational stress and compassion fatigue. The mediating effect value accounts for 19.94% of the total effect;resilience plays a part in mediating the path of comprehending social support and compassion fatigue. The mediating effect value accounts for 25.75% of the total effect;comprehending social support and resilience can play a partial intermediary role in the path of occupational stress on the work-related fatigue, and the mediating effect accounts for 53.74% of the total effect.Conclusion:1.The occupational pressure of this group of oncology nurses, comprehension of social support, resilience are at a medium level, and there is a certain degree of compassion fatigue.2.The occupational stress and the dimensions of the oncology nurses were positively correlated with the total scores of compassion fatigue and the scores of burnout. The comprehension of social support and the scores of all dimensions and compassion fatigue and the scores of each dimension were significantly negatively correlated;the resilience and the scores of all dimensions were a significant negative correlation between compassion fatigue and scores in each dimension.3.age,nursing profession and work, family exogenous support, and self-reliance are the influencing factors of compassion fatigue;age, patient care, and self-reliance are the influencing factors of secondary trauma;working years, nursing profession and work,self-reliance,family support, workload and time allocation are the influencing factors of burnout.4.oncology nurses work pressure, comprehension of social support, resilience have a direct predictive effect on their compassion fatigue.Perceived social support as a mediator indirectly affect compassion fatigue;Resilience as a mediator indirectly affects compassion fatigue;Preceived social support and resilience can be used as mediators to regulate the impact of occupational stress on compassion fatigue.
