Hypertension is the most common chronic disease in the elderly.In recent years,a large and growing number of elderly people with hypertension have become increasingly important public health issues and social issues affecting the quality of life of the elderly.However,while the country vigorously promotes the community elderly hypertension health management services,there is a problem of insufficient participation of elderly services.The problem of inefficient use of community hypertension health management resources and insufficient service participation of the elderly is the focus of this study.In this study,the elderly with low age hypertension in W community were taken as the research objects,and the current situation and reasons of insufficient service participation of the elderly in the community were evaluated by questionnaire survey,semi-structured interview and participatory observation.The assessment analyzes the current situation of service participation of the elderly with hypertension in W community from three aspects: the number of participants,the number of participants and the willingness to participate,and summarizes the demand orientation from three aspects: individual,community and service,and then analyzes the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention.Integrating the theory of increasing energy and the theory of social support as the practical guidance,the group work intervention method is used for practical intervention,and the intervention effect is evaluated bythe combination of pre-test and post test evaluation of questionnaire,satisfaction evaluation of group members on group activities,target completion evaluation and supervision evaluation.The study found that there are three aspects of service needs of the elderly with low age hypertension in community W: first,the need to improve service awareness;second,the need to enhance self-confidence in coping with hypertension;third,the need to obtain mutual assistance and participation.Through the group intervention service,it helps the service object to improve the cognitive level of hypertension,hypertension health management and community elderly hypertension health management service,improves the attention to the maintenance of their own hypertension condition,picks up the self-confidence to fight with hypertension again,and builds the patient group support network and the doctor-patient cooperation support network.The conclusions are as follows: social work has the necessity and feasibility of involving in the construction of community elderly hypertension health management service system,and group work has a significant positive role in improving the sense of powerlessness and lack of social support of the community elderly with low age hypertension.At the same time,more forces are needed to participate in the construction of service system.
