The Study On The Safety Management Of Patients In Public Hospitals

Medical and health care is a major livelihood issue.Patient safety is the core of hospital quality management including safety as the basic needs of patients.However,the occurrence of patient adverse events has certain natural views and uncertainty.If the safety of the patient is not guaranteed during the medical service process,it will cause serious damage to the patient and it can cause a great negative impact to the hospital.The subsequent remedial treatment and compensation costs will inevitably increase the social medical cost.Regarding on how eliminate the hidden dangers of patients in the process of medical treatment this is to avoid harmful effects to patients to the maximum extent and to ensure the quality of medical services that has become a research hotspot in the medical field.Patient's safety is an important indicator in the management level of hospitals and it is also the focus in daily management of hospitals.This paper starts with the study of patient safety management in a public hospital in Ningbo,expounds the current status of the prevalence of patient safety management in public hospitals,analyzes the existing problems and causes.This combines the government and public hospitals to improve patient safety management implemented.Exploration and practice propose countermeasures,aiming to propose effective ways to improve the management level of public hospitals and create a safe medical environment to the people around.The first part defines the concept of public hospitals and patient safety.It describes the exploratory practices of current public hospitals for patient's safety management.The second part analyzes the common problems and causes of patient safety management in public hospitals.It is believed that the current hospital patient safety management is long,and there is no scientific system within the government agencies and also public hospitals;the medical staff's subjective initiative is not strong,the patient's safety awareness is weak;the logistics management has hidden dangers,and equipment maintenance is not done in advance.The management of hospital infrastructure is also an important factor in the occurrence of patient safety accidents;Some public hospitals are not refined enough for some processes,and management is dominated by empiricism.The third part,based on the current patient safety management problems in public hospitals,it draws on JCI evaluation criteria and management theory.It proposes corresponding countermeasures including the following: optimizing the main structure of management,strengthening government hospital management functions,improving employees safety awareness,creating hospital safety culture,deepening hospital logistics reform,improving logistics management quality,strengthening hospital system construction,innovating supervision and evaluation mechanisms,and developing patient safety management research.
