The study of the children with autism has been going on for more than 100 years, and after all these years, there are still many questions worth exploring.Professor Hong li yu(2006)pointed out that behavior problems are the biggest obstacle for autistic children not to be accepted in general education, far more than the disorder itself. Many children with autism have a variety of problem behavior due to the language barriers, the communication barriers and the social dysfunction, such as the self-injurious behavior, the behavior of harming others and the behavior of hand-watching in class, etc. These problem behavior bring great challenges to the rehabilitation education of autistic children. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the problem behavior of autistic children. The problem behavior of autistic children have different functions. This study believes that Functional Behavior Assessment should be carried out firstly to analyze the causes of problem behavior in autistic children. Then select specific intervention methods to conduct behavioral intervention, which can reduce the occurrence frequency of problem behavior in children with autism. And help autistic children establish adaptive behaviors. Therefore, this paper's research objects are autistic children.Three kinds of typical problem behavior were selected, they were self-injurious behavior(SIB),Self-stimulating behavior(SSB)and harming others behavior respectively.Based on the Functional Behavior Assessment, specific behavior intervention methods were selected to intervene the specific problem behavior.Single subject ABA experiment design was used to conduct problem behavior intervention and study whether the problem behavior can be corrected or not.The specific researches are as follows:Study 1: The Sensory Integration Training, based on Function Behavior Assessment, was adopted to intervene Jie jie's self-injurious behavior(hitting his head hardly). To study whether the frequency of his self-injurious behavior decreased after intervention..Study 2: The Positive Behavior Support, based on Function Behavior Assessment, was adopted to intervene Ming ming's hand-watching behavior in class. To study whether the frequency of his hand-watching behavior in class decreased after intervention..Study 3: The Positive Behavior Support, based on Function Behavior Assessment, was adopted to intervene Guo guo's harming others' behavior(pinching others' face). To study whether the frequency of his harming others' behavior decreased after intervention..After analyzing the above three data,we draw the following conclusions.Study 1: Jie jie's self-injurious behavior was conducted Function Behavior Assessment, found that his problem behavior was to avoid contact with other people(except his mother). Then used the Sensory Integration Training to intervene, found this method has a significantly positive effect on reducing the frequency of the hitting head behavior.Study 2: Ming ming's hand-watching behavior in class was conducted Function Behavior Assessment, found that his problem behavior was to find the sense of self-stimulation.Then used the Positive Behavior Support to intervene, found this method has a significantly positive effect on reducing the frequency of the hand-watching behavior in class.Study 3: Guo guo's harming others' behavior was conducted Function Behavior Assessment, found that his problem behavior was to Seek the sensory stimulation in hands. Then used the Positive Behavior Support to intervene, found this method has a significantly positive effect on reducing the frequency of the pinching others' face behavior.Research Conclusions:The problem behaviors of autistic children all have their own corresponding functions. We used the Functional Behavior Assessment analyze the causes of his problem behavior, and then chose an appropriate intervention method to intervene it,the selection of the method was based on the causes of problem behavior. The results shows that the occurrence of the problem behavior frequency decreased effectively, and their appropriate adaptation were established. Thus,it provides opportunities for autistic children to better integrate into the educational environment and better adapt to the social environment.
