Effect Of Shufeng Xingbi Therapy On Serum IL-33 And IL-25 In Children With Allergic Rhinitis(Wind Evil Encroach Lung-type)

Objective:To observe the differences in serum IL-33 and IL-25 expression levels before and after treatment of allergic rhinitis(AR)in children with Wind evil encroach lung-type by Shufeng Xingbi Therapy,in order to improve the pathogenesis of AR and clarify the mechanism of Shufeng Xingbi Therapy treatment in children with AR(Wind evil encroach lung-type)to improve clinical efficacy.Methods:Thirty healthy children were selected as the healthy control group(Group C)at the Physical Examination Center of the the People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Fifty-four children with allergic rhinitis who selected the outpatient clinics of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated People's Hospital and Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Second People's Hospital that meet the children's AR diagnostic criteria and the main points of TCM symptoms of Wind evil encroach lung-type were randomly divided into Chinese medicine treatment groups Cases(group A)and 27 cases of western medicine control group(group B),Group A was treated with Shufeng Xinbi Recipe for internal use,and Chinese herbal medicine Xingbi Gel Nasal Drops were applied externally.Group B was administered internally with Cetirizine Hydrochloride Tablets(Zentramine),and topical Mometasone Furose Nasal Spray(Nesuna),The duration of treatment was 4 weeks;Serum IL-33,IL-25,and OVA sIgE concentrations were measured before and after treatment in each group.A and B groups were quantified by symptom and sign and curative effect before and 4 weeks after treatment.The data that conformed to the normal distribution were expressed as mean ± standard deviation((?)±s),and the data that did not conform to the normal distribution were expressed as median and quartile(m(P25,P75)),with SPSS26.0 statistical software package analysis.Results:1.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in sex and age composition between the A and B groups(P > 0.05).Serum levels of IL-33,IL-25 and OVA sIgE were higher in the A and B groups than in the C group(P < 0.05).2.After 4 weeks of treatment,compared with before treatment,the concentrations of serum IL-33,IL-25 and OVA sIgE in the A and B groups were significantly reduced(P < 0.05);there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05),there was no significant difference in the improvement of symptoms and signs between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion:The results of this study indicate that blood levels of IL-33,IL-25,and OVA sIgE are elevated in children with AR,and Th1 / Th2 imbalances are present.Traditional Chinese medicine Shufeng Xingbi Recipe combined with Xingbi Gel Nasal Drops for children AR may be achieved by reducing the expression of IL-33,IL-25,correcting the Th1/Th2 imbalance,reducing the release of inflammatory mediators and reducing OVA sIgE secretion Purpose of treatment.Traditional Chinese medicine Shufeng Xingbi Recipe and Xingbi Gel Nasal Drops can obviously improve the symptoms and signs of children with AR,and improve the quality of life of children.The efficacy is not significantly different from that ofwestern medicine control group.
