Clinical Observation Of Kangmin Jian In The Treatment Of Allergic Rhinitis(TCM Syndrome Type Of Wind Impairing Ying And Wei)in Children

Objective:To explore the clinical thinking and theoretical understanding of establishing the TCM syndrome of allergic rhinitis in Children,and to observe and evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of “Kangmin Jian” in the treatment of allergic rhinitis(TCM syndrome type of wind impairing Ying and Wei)in children through clinical trials,so as to enrich the clinical dialectical thinking and prescription selection for the treatment of allergic rhinitis in children.Methods:The 62 children with allergic rhinitis collected from outpatient department were randomly divided into experiment group(Kangmin Jian treatment group)and control group(cetirizine hydrochloride tablets treatment group)by grouping antitheses,there are 31 children in each group,the course of treatment was 14 days in both groups.Before and after treatment,we recorded the scores of main symptoms?secondary symptoms and nasal signs,observed the improvement of symptoms and physical signs in children,and made use of software SPSS17.0 for date processing and analysis,to contrast and evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results:1.Case situation:A total of 62 patients(experiment group 31 patients,control group 31 patients)are included in the study.Because of 1 patient fell off in the experiment group,there are 61 patients(experiment group30 patients,control group 31 patients)in accordance with the study plan.2.Total curative effect:The Total curative effect of the two groups are comparative.After 14-days treatment,in experiment group,there are 16 patients are markedly effective,12 patients are effective,2 patients are ineffective,the total effective rate was 93.3%;in control group,there are10 patients are markedly effective,18 patients are effective,3 patients are ineffective,the total effective rate was 90.3%.The total effective rates are no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05).3.The curative effect of main symptoms:The curative effect of the main symptoms between the two groups are comparative.After treatment,the nasal itching?sneezing?runny nose?nasal obstruction in the two groups are significantly improved(P<0.01),there are no significangtly differences between the two groups in the total scores of main symptoms(P>0.05).4.The curative effect of secondary symptoms: Experiment group is better than the control group in treating the secondary symptoms.The experiment group is effective in the treatment of itchy skin or rash?itchy eyes ? itchy pharynx or cough ? eviling wind and cold ? spontaneous sweating ? annoying heat and thirst ? excrement stickiness and smelly(P<0.01);the control group is effective in the treatment of itchy skin or rash?itchy eyes?itchy pharynx or cough?eviling wind and cold(P<0.01),but there is no therapeutic effect in eviling wind and cold?spontaneous sweating ? annoying heat and thirst ? excrement stickiness and smelly(P>0.05);there are statistical differences between the two groups in the total scores of secondary symptoms(P<0.01).5.The curative effect of nasal signs:The two groups have the comparative curative effect on nasal signs.After treatment,the nasal signs is significantly improved of the two groups(P<0.01);there are no statistics differences between the two groups(P>0.05).6.Safety:The two kinds of treatment are relatiwely safe,none of them has appear or occur adverse events during treatment process.Conclusion:TCM syndrome type of wind impairing Ying and Wei can be used as a supplement to sydrome differentiation and classification of allergic rhinitis in children.Kangmin Jian has the effect of reconciling Ying and Wei,dispelling wind dryness and dampness,cushioning irritation and relieving allergy.It is an effective prescription for the treatment of allergic rhinitis(TCM syndrome type of wind impairing Ying and Wei)in children,and it is worth popularizing in clinic.
