Clinical Observation Of Bifidobacterium Triple Viable Tablet Combined With Jiaweihuangqi Decoction In The Treatment Of Functional Constipation In The Elderly With Qi Deficiency

Objectives: To carry out a randomized controlled trial of Bifidobacterium triple viable tablet combined with jiaweihuangqi Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation in the elderly with Qi deficiency,and to compare the clinical effect difference between the combination of Bifidobacterium triple viable tablet and polyethylene glycol 4000 powder in the treatment of functional constipation in the elderly,and to explore the clinical effect of the combination of the two.Methods: A total of 60 patients who were treated in Sichuan Provincs:ial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2017 to December 2019 and were fit for qi deficiency type elderly functional constipation were selected.Patients were randomly assigned to the two groups using a random number table.There were 30 in the experimental group and 34 in the control group.After enrollment,the baseline data of patients,such as gender,age,course of disease,basic vital physical signs,routine laboratory examination,and disease classification,etc.,were improved.The experimental group gave a treatment with bifidobacterium trifecta plus flavoring astragalus decoction.The matched group gave a treatment with bifidobacterium triplex live bacteria tabellas and polyethylene glycol 4000 powder.Continuous treatment for four weeks.The first and second clinical symptoms and signs grades were compared pretherapy and post-treatment,and the untoward effects and reboundphenomenon were analyzed after 4 weeks of treatment.After proper arrangement,use SPSS26.0 software to analyze the data.Results:1.The therapeutic effect(total effective rate)of the experimental group was 89.29%.The total effective rate of the control group was 68.97%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P = 0.049 < 0.05).It can be seen that the treatment effect of the experimental group is better than that of the control group.2.After treatment,the clinical symptom scores of the two groups were significantly different(P.There was significant difference between the two groups in symptom score(P = 0.004 < 0.05),indicating that the experimental group was better than the control group in improving clinical symptoms.3.The experimental group was better than the control group in improving the defecation time,defecation frequency,defecation difficulty,feeling of endless defecation and mental fatigue(P < 0.05).In the improvement of defecation,hypodynamia,anorexia and other symptoms(P > 0.05),the curative effect of the two methods was similar.4.The recurrence rate of the experimental group was 3.57% four weeks after the treatment.The recurrence rate of the control group was 31.03%four weeks after the treatment.There was a significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups(P = 0.006 < 0.05),indicating thatthe long-term effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:The combined treatment of bifidobacterium triple live bacteria tablets and modified Huangqi Decoction has a good clinical effect on functional constipation of qi deficiency in the elderly.The clinical signs of sick persons are effectively improved.It is safe for clinical use,affordable,and simple to use.It has certain value in clinical application.
