Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Senile Functional Constipation With Qi Deficiency By Adding And Reducing Astragalus Decoction

Objective:Through clinical observation,this study explored the curative effect and related theory of self-made prescription Huangqi decoction in treating senile constipation with deficiency of qi,to observe the clinical effect of adding and reducing Huangqi decoction in the treatment of senile functional constipation of qi deficiency,to provide a way of thinking and method for the treatment of senile qi deficiency constipation,and to give full play to the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:According to the principles of randomization,parallelism and control,80 patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into two groups.The patients in the test group were treated with modified Huangqi decoction.The dosage of Honey Astragalus 30g(according to the degree of qi deficiency patients with different dosage of Astragalus in the range of 30-60g),white atractylodes rhizome 45 g,Cistanche 30 g,fructus cannabis 30 g,fried walnut 9g,angelica 12 g,orange peel 12 g,honey aster 30 g,Scrophulariaceae 30 g,Cimicifuga 6G,rhubarb 6g.The treatment of Qirong Runchang Oral liquid in the Control Group based on the principle of equivalence.Two cases were excluded in the trial group and one case in the control group,the clinical observation was completed in 77 cases,38 cases in the test group and 39 cases in the control group.Results:1.Evaluation of overall clinical efficacy:both of the two groups can improve the clinical symptoms of functional constipation,but the effective rate of the test team is better than the control group,The difference is statistically significant.55 of them returned to their pre-illness state.2.Evaluation of the curative effect of main symptom and secondary symptom: in the aspect of improvement of main symptom,the total therapeutic score of the two groups was lower than that before treatment,such as defecation character,defecation frequency,defecation time and so on.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group in improving defecation frequency,fecal traits,abdominal distension,and so on,and the difference was statistically significant.In improving defecation overexertion and defecation time,the treatment group was better than the traditional Chinese patent medicine control group(P < 0.05)in improving defecation overpressure,defecation time,and so on.Compared with the control group,there was no significant difference between the Chinese medicine decoction group and the control group in terms of shortness of breath,self-sweating,fatigue after stool,fatigue and fatigue after defecation,and there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).The improvement of TCM symptom observation index such as lazy speech was better than that of traditional Chinese patent medicine control group,and the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).3.Evaluation of the effect of improving the quality of life: the quality of life of the patients in the test group and the control group were improved obviously,especially in the experimental group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.Safety evaluation:There was no significant adverse reaction during the course of treatment in both groups.5.Evaluation of efficacy of continuous stability: The two groups were followed up for 4 weeks and 8 weeks.The recurrence rate in the experimental group and the control group was lower than that in the control group(P < 0.01).Conclusion:Treatment of senile functional constipation with qi deficiency type by modified Huangqi decoction has significant curative effect,not only can the patient's defecation effort,long defecation time,abdominal distension and other main symptoms can be significantly improved,but also can obviously improve the secondary symptoms such as fatigue,fatigue and so on,so as to improve the quality of life of patients,improve the anxiety of patients,etc.Modified decoction provides a new way of thinking and prescription for clinical practice.It is safe,stable and efficient.It is worth popularizing and studying further.
