A Clinical Study Of Tianzhuhuang Decoction By Retention Enema On Night Crying(Heart Heat Accumulation)in Children

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Tianzhuhuang Decoction by retention enema on children with night crying which belongs to heart heat accumulation.And discuss the advantages of Tianzhuhuang Decoction by retention enema when it was applied in clinica.Methods: In this study,sixty children with night crying were divided into two groups.Thirty children in treatment group and thirty in control group.Tianzhuhuang Decoction by retention enema was given to the treatment group,while the control group was treated with Hupobaolong Pills.Both of the two treatments continued one week.Through the rating scale,record the the scores of the main symptoms and the syndrome of heart heat accumulation before and after the treatment and then contrast the two treatments method both in relieving symptoms and correcting the syndrome of heart heat accumulation.Results:1.In this study,there were sixty cases in total,thirty in treatment group and thirty in control group.Between the two groups,there was no difference in gender and age.2.There was no significant difference in the scores of the main symptoms.After treatment,the main symptoms scores in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P(27)0.05).3.There was no significant difference in the scores of the syndrome of heart heat accumulation.After treatment,the syndrome of heart heat accumulation scores in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P(27)0.05).4.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than those of the control group(P(27)0.05).5.There were no obvious adverse reactions during the course of the treatment.Conclusion:1.Tianzhuhuang Decoction by retention enema has significant curative effect in treating night crying whose type is heart heat accumulation.2.Tianzhuhuang Decoction by retention enema can effectively improve the frequency of night crying,the time to fall asleep,sleep duration,the times of wake up at night,and lower the score of the syndrome of heart heat accumulation and improve the constitution of children.The curative effect is significantly better than the control group.3.The prescription and the method of retention enema is safe and effective in treating children's night crying.
