The Clinical Effect Observation Of Gastroesophageal Reflux Cough(Phlegm Fever Insides And Food Deposition) In Children Treated By Huanglian Wendan Decoction

Objective:To tentativly evaluate the clinical efficacy of Coptis Wendan Decoction used in gastro-esophageal reflux cough(GERC),which benlongs to Accumulation of phlegm heat,and dyspepsia.Methods:Would be in children with gastroesophageal reflux cough diagnostic criteria of the children as the research object,the participants included sixty-eight patients,randomly divided into treatment group and control group,treatment group 34 cases study of oral huanglian wendan tang granules,the control group thirty-four cases of oral children cough oral liquid deposition.We selected cough,expectoration,sour regurgitation,belching,anorexia,abdominal fullness and distention,ozostomia,flushing and vermilion of the lip,constipation and the total scores of T.C.M symptoms as the observation indexes.We recorded the T.C.M symptoms and signs on the 1st,7th and last day of the treatment and assessed its improvement.We evaluated the clinical efficacy after the completion of treatment.Results:The results showed that in the treatment group,12 cases were cured,8 were effective,8 were effective and 6 were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 82.35%.while in the controlled group,including 8 cases of clinical cure,8 cases were markedly effective,effective in 5 cases,11 cases were invalid,the total effective rate was 65.62%,two groups total effective comparison difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).1 week after treatment,two groups of cough,anorexia,ozostomia,abdominal fullness and distention was obviously improved,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference is compared between two groups(P > 0.05),and in improving the TCM syndrome integral,expectoration,sour regurgitation,belching,flushing and vermilion of the lip,constipation points treatment group was superior to control group(P < 0.05).Two weeks after treatment compared with before treatment,two groups of cough,expectoration,sour regurgitation,belching,asitia,abdominal fullness and distention,ozostomia,flushing and vermilion of the lip,constipation and the total scores of T.C.M symptoms were significantly decreased,P values are less than 0.01,the difference was statistically significant.But the improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the controlled group,all P values were less than 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:The Coptis Wendan Decoction and the Children’s Accretion Cough Oral Liquid can effectively relief the TCM symptoms of gastro-esophageal reflux cough,and the Coptis Wendan Decoction had much more effective than the Children’s Accretion Cough Oral Liquid,and Granules are good for children’s medicine and improve clinical efficacy.
