ObjectivePo construct a teach-back method health education program for hemodialysis patients based on the theory of knowledge and practice, and observe its clinical application. It aims to improve the quality of life of MHD dialysis patients and provide a new reference for the development of health education model for MHD patients.MethodsPart one: determining the health education program. In this study, the first draft of the health education program for hemodialysis patients was formed on the basis of the literature review method, referring to the relevant literature and factors at home and abroad. Two rounds of expert letter consultation were selected and modified to form a formal health education program. The second part: observation of clinical effect of using formal health education program.60 cases of MHD patients in a comprehensive grade a hospital in Harbin were selected as the research object.Randomly divided into control group and experimental group, signed informed consent. The control group received routine care. The experimental group was given teach-back health education on the basis of routine nursing, and the intervention period was three months.Fill out a general questionnaire before intervention.Frequency of paroxytic hypotension, frequency of muscle twitch, biochemical parameters, parathyroid gland, blood pressure and IWGR % were recorded before and after intervention. Finally, the data were input into SPSS22.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Results1.A health education program for maintenance of dialysis patients was constructed, including 6 primary indicators,24 secondary indicators and 99 tertiary indicators.2.Before the intervention, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in general information, parathyroid hormone, blood pressure and IWGR%(P >0.05).3.After intervention,MHD patients developed partic hypotension and decreased muscle twitching frequency;Serum potassium, blood phosphorus and parathyroid hormone were allsignificantly decreased compared with those before the intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P< 0.05).The hemoglobin content was significantly higher than that before the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).There was no significant difference in serum sodium, blood pressure and serum albumin(P>0.05).The IWGR% value was lower than that before the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).Conclusions1.This study constructed a teach-back program for health education for dialysis patients, including 6 primary indicators,24 secondary indicators and 99 tertiary indicators.Specific contents include uremia and its related knowledge, dialysis and its complications, nutrition and diet, common diseases and medication of dialysis patients, maintenance of dialysis access, resistance and aerobic exercise guidance.2.Teach-back health education program can reduce the occurrence of hypotension and muscle twitch in MHD patients during dialysis; Can reduce blood potassium, blood phosphorus, parathyroid hormone;Increase hemoglobin content;Reduces the IWGR %value ratio.3.Teach-back method can improve the maintenance of dialysis quality and provide quality of life for dialysis patients.
