Objective1.Using teach-back health education techniques conduct health education on anticoagulation therapy in patients taking warfarin after mechanical valve replacement.2.We hope that teach-back health education can improve anticoagulation compliance in patients after mechanical valve replacement.MethodsInpatients who underwent mechanical valve replacement in the cardiovascular surgery of a top three hospital from July 2018 to October 2018 were collected by cluster sampling. One ward was randomly selected from two wards of cardiovascular surgery as the experimental group, and the other ward was the control group, with 36 cases in each group. The experimental group use the feedback-based health education method to carry out the health education of warfarin anticoagulant therapy knowledge, and the control group use the routine health education method. The two groups of health education content are same. Two months after the patient was discharged from the hospital, the warfarin anticoagulant treatment knowledge questionnaire and the warfarin medication compliance questionnaire were used to conduct a questionnaire survey to evaluate the patient's knowledge of warfarin anticoagulant therapy and medication compliance, and to record the patient's warfarin anticoagulation. The intensity of the evaluation index is International Normalized Ratio(INR),and the number of follow-up visits by the doctors who have been discharged from the hospital for 2 months was collected.Results1.After discharge from the hospital, the warfarin anticoagulant therapy knowledge score of feedback health education group(14.77±1.59)is higher than the regular health education group(6.54±2.48),the difference between the two groups are statistically significant(t=16.53,P<0.05).2.After discharge from the hospital, the warfarin medication compliance score of feedback health education group(8±0)is higher than the regular health education group(7.87±0.32),and the difference between the two groups are statistically significant(t=2.32,P<0.05).3.After discharge from the hospital, the follow-up ratio of feedback health education group(96.92%)is higher than the regular health education group(89.57%).The difference between the two groups are statistically significant(X2=5.96,P<0.05)4.After discharge from the hospital, the INR control rate of feedback health education group is 60%and the regular health education group is 45.7%.There are no significant difference between the two groups(X2=2.06,P>0.05).Conclusions1.Feedback-based health education can effectively improve the knowledge of warfarin anticoagulant therapy patients after mechanical valve replacement.2.Feedback-based health education can effectively improve the compliance of warfarin patients after mechanical valve replacement.3.Feedback-based health education can effectively improve the follow-up of patients who follow the doctor's advice after mechanical valve replacement.
