Objectives:(1)To understand the current situation of disease acceptance of type 2 diabetes mellitus from Grade 3A Hospital in Changsha City.(2)To explore the influencing factors of disease acceptance in patients with diabetes mellitus.(3)To analyze the relationship between the health locus of control,coping style,perceived social support and general demographic factors and disease acceptance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,and to provide reference for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to formulate effective intervention measures to improve the level of disease acceptance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:Cluster sampling method was used to select 429 patients with type 2diabetes mellitus who were treated in Endocrinology Department of 3General Grade 3A Hospitals in Changsha City from June 2019 to December 2019.A questionnaire survey was conducted on type 2diabetes mellitus through a self-designed questionnaire of general demographic data and clinical data,acceptance of illness scale,health locus of control scale,perceived social support scale and medical coping modes questionnaire.SPSS 24.0 statistical software was used for date analysis,including descriptive statistics,analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis.Results:(1)The total score of 429 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus' s acceptance of illness was(25.36 ±5.35).(2)In this study,the patients with powerful-others control in HLC was the highest(24.66 ±4.18),and the lowest score of health chance control was(19.82 ±5.80).In the medical coping style of type 2 diabetic patients,the score of face dimension was the highest(18.06 ±3.71),the yield dimension score was the lowest(9.41 ±2.08),and the score of perceived social support of type 2 diabetic patients was(58.18 ±10.32).The scores of family support and external support were(23.75 ±3.39)and(34.45 ±7.93)respectively,which all at a middle level.(3)Correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between the score of internal locus of control and the score of disease acceptance;health locus of powerful others control,the score of health opportunity control and the score of disease acceptance were nagatively correlated(r=0.564,-0.343,-0.690,P < 0.01).The score of face dimension in coping style was positively correlated with the acceptance of disease,while the score of avoidance and yield was negatively correlated with the acceptance of disease(r=0.734?-0.447?-0.807,P<0.01),and the total score of perceived social support and the total score of family and external support were positively correlated with the acceptance of disease(r=0.727?0.680?0.659,P<0.01).(4)There were significant differences in the scores of age,place of residence,marriage status,educational level,work status,type of medical payment method,monthly household income per capita,disease duration,number of complications,glycosylated hemoglobin and diabetes treatments(P < 0.01).Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that age,place of residence,marriage status,Monthly household income per capita,disease duration,health control of chance,face,yield,perceived social support entered the regression model.The fitted multivariate stepwise regression equation is statistically significant.(F=67.045,P<0.001).Conclusions:(1)Patients with type 2 diabetes had moderate disease acceptance,which should be further improved.(2)Factors affecting disease acceptance in patients with type 2diabetes mellitus include chance health locus of control,yield coping style,face coping style,perceived social support,marriage status,disease duration,age,place of residence and monthly household income per capita.
