Research On Correlation Between Type 2 Diabetes Patients Resilience And Social Support And Coping Style

[Objective]To investigate the current situation of the Type 2 diabetes patients resilience,study the influence of demography,social support and coping styles on reliance of Type 2 diabetes patients and provide theory basis for the nurse to improve the resilience level of Type 2 diabetes patients.[Methods]Convenience sampling method was adopted in this study,a total number of 128 patients from Endocrine and Diabetes Center Affiliated to Jiangsu Province Hospital on Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine were selected as research object during from December 2016 to May 2017.The data collection tools included General information questionnaires,Conner-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),Medical Coping Mode Questionnaire(MCQ)and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS).Data are managed by the Excel software.Descriptive analysis,One-way ANOVA,T-test,correlation analysis,and Multiple hierarchical regression analysis were conducted by SPSS 21.0 software.[Results]In this survey,140 questionnaires were distributed,128 valid questionnaires were received,the specific result is as follow:1.The total point of resilience of type 2 diabetes patients is(63.95 ± 15.723),and the three dimension points are tenacity(31.07±10.128)points,optimism(10.21+2.891)points,and power(22.87 ± 5.176)points,lower than the general population of the community.2.The total point of social support of type 2 diabetes patients is(39.62±7.702),and the three dimension points are subjective support(19.07±3.489)points,objective support(21..62±5.495)points,and followed by the use of support degree(7.63 ± 2.507)points.3.The total point of Medical Coping of type 2 diabetes patients is(43.24±5.022),and the three dimension points are face(31.07±10.128)points,avoidance(15.23±3.191)points,and yield(9.03±2.151)points by descending order.4.Results of comparison of the total scores in resilience among different sociological population through T-test and ANOVA show that the differences among different sex,different education level?different treatment are statistically significant(P<0.05).5.The correlation analysis shows that the resilience and the three dimensions of type 2 diabetes was positively related to social support and the dimension of subjective support and objective support(P<0.01);the resilience and the three dimensions of type 2 diabetes was positively related to Medical Coping and the dimension of face(P<0.01),yield(P<0.01)was in negative correlation with resilience.6.The Multiple hierarchical regression analysis shows that Education level,subjective support,face and yield objective support were entered the regression equation model,And they can explain 48.1%of the variance.[Conclusions]1.The resilience of type 2 diabetes patients is in medium-low level and remains to be improved.Sex,education level,treatment are the factors influencing the resilience of type 2 diabetes.Education level play a role in resilience.2.The higher the social support for Type 2 diabetes patients,the higher the resilience level.objective support and subjective support play a role in resilience.3.the positive coping style,the higher the resilience level for Type 2 diabetes patients,and the resilience level will be lower with the increasing of negative coping style.face and yield play a role in resilience.
