Clinical Study Of Xing Qi Li Shui Tong Lin Formula In The Treatment Of Urinary Stones(Damp-heat Pouring Downward Syndrome)

ObjectiveUrinary calculi,also known as urolithiasis,belongs to the category of"Shilinin" in traditional Chinese medicine.It is a common disease in urology,with high incidence and high recurrence rate.At present,it is generally believed that the incidence of urinary calculi is related to metabolic abnormalities,local urinary tract abnormalities,genetic factors,dietary structure,climate and environment.Southern China is located in the tropics and subtropics,and the climate is hot and humid.It is a high incidence area of urinary calculi.Imaging examination is an important means for the diagnosis of urinary calculi.At present,the commonly used imaging examination methods in clinic are ultrasound,abdominal X-ray,IVP,CT,MRI and so on.Each inspection has its own advantages and complements each other.Urinary calculi occur in different loczitions of the urinary tract,and their symptoms may be different.However,the main symptoms are colic of the affected side,frequency of urination,urgency of urination,pain of urination and hematuria.If combined with urinary tract infection,it will cause chills and fever,and even septic shock symptoms;after urinary tract obstruction caused by stones,acute or chronic renal failure can occur,threatening the lives of patients.It can be seen that urinary calculi bring tremendous pain to patients,seriously affecting their daily work and life.It is the duty of every urologist to relieve the pain of patients with urinary calculi.With the development and popularization of minimally invasive surgery,the modern surgical treatment of urinary caleuli is developing in the direction of minimally invasive surgery,which has made many patients avoid the pain of surgery and become the mainstream method of modern surgical treatment of urinary calculi.However,minimally invasive lithotripsy is not suitable for the treatment of all urinary calculi,for example,for some small calculi without surgical indications or residual stone fragments after endoscopic lithotripsy,drug lithotripsy is more suitable.The understanding and treatment of urinary calculi in traditional Chinese medicine has a very long history.In the long-term practice of people,the use of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of urinary calculi has a definite effect,little side effects,relatively low price,simple method,which is highly praised by the masses.Through the study of the effect of Xing Qi Li Shui Tong Lin Formula in the treatment of urinary calculi(damp-heat pouring downward syndrome),through randomized controlled experiments,the efficacy and adverse reactions were analyzed,and the clinical effect and safety of Xing Qi Li Shui Tong Lin Formula were objectively evaluated.MethodsA total of 60 cases were reported in this study.All cases were from urolithiasis patients who were treated in outpatient and inpatient clinics of Urology Department of Qingyuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2018 to February 2019.The treatment group was treated with Xing Qi Li Shui Tong Lin Formula combined with Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsule,while the control group was treated with Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsule alone.Ten days were a course of treatment.After two courses of treatment,the curative effect was compared and adverse reactions were recorded.ResultsCompared with the control group,the treatment group with Xing Qi Li Shui Tong Lin Formula combined with Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsule can shorten the stone discharge time,increase the stone descent distance,reduce the pain score(VAS score),and reduce the number of urinary white blood cells(P<0.05),ConclusionXing Qi Li Shui Tong Lin Formula is effective and safe in the treatment of urinary calculi(damp-heat pouring downward syndrome).It can promote the discharge of calculi,improve the treatment efficiency,and alleviate the pain and urinary tract infection symptoms of patients.
