Objective:By comparing the clinical effect of massage combined with fire needle, simple massage and simple fire needle in the treatment of cold and wet lumbar disc herniation, the clinical effectiveness of massage combined with fire needle in the treatment of cold and wet lumbar disc herniation is verified. Methods: 90 patients with cold and dampness type lumbar disc herniation who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into observation group, massage group and fire needle group 30 cases each. The intervention measures in observation group were massage combined with fire acupuncture therapy, massage group intervention was massage therapy, fire acupuncture group intervention was fire acupuncture therapy.treatment once every other day,10 times as a course of treatment,a total of 1 course of treatment.Synthetical evaluation of pain: simplified Mc Gill scale;2 evaluation of lumbar activity function: use of Roland-Morris dysfunction questionnaire;3 evaluation of total curative effect: use of "criteria for diagnostic efficacy of TCM syndrome ".Clinical outcome of three groups of clinical subjects and data use SPSS20.0 statistical analysis and comparison. To observe the scores of the simplified Mc Gill scale and the questionnaire of Roland-Morris dysfunction before and after treatment, and to explore the clinical effect of massage combined with fire needle in the treatment of cold and dampness type lumbardisc herniation with reference to the curative effect standard of lumbar disc herniation in the diagnostic efficacy standard of TCM disease issued by the State Administration of traditional Chinese Medicine in 1994.Results:(1)Baseline data comparison: three groups of clinical subjects before treatment sex, age, course of disease, simplified Mc Gill scale scores and Roland-Morris dysfunction questionnaire scores were compared, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)The results of pain evaluation were compared: the scores of the simplified Mc Gill scale were significantly lower than those before treatment in the three groups(P<0.05),but the difference between massage and fire acupuncture was statistically significant in alleviating the pain symptoms of lumbar and back pain in patients with cold and wet lumbar disc herniation(P<0.05).(3)The evaluation results of waist activity function were compared:the scores of Roland-Morris dysfunction questionnaire after treatment in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),but the difference between massage combined with fire needle was statistically significant in improving lumbar movement dysfunction in patients with cold and dampness type lumbar disc herniation(P<0.05).(4)Overall efficacy comparison: after three groups of treatment, the total clinical effective rate of 30 patients with cold and dampness type lumbar disc herniation in the observation group was93.33%;that of 30 patients with cold and dampness type lumbar disc herniation in massage group was 73.33%;and that of 30 patientswith cold and dampness type lumbar disc herniation in fire acupuncture group was 70.00%.Conclusions: Massage and fire acupuncture have definite effect in treating cold-wet type lumbar disc herniation, but massage combined with fire acupuncture treatment of cold-wet type lumbar disc herniation is better than simple massage treatment or simple fire acupuncture treatment in alleviating pain symptoms and improving the function of waist movement, which is worthy of further clinical application.Clinical effect of massage with fire needle combined with cold and dampness type lumbar disc herniation.
