Study On Prevention And Control Strategy Of Chronic Diseases

According to the latest report on the burden of disease in China,the leading causes of premature death in China are stroke,ischaemic heart disease,lung cancer,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and liver cancer.^[1]Chronic diseases have become a major challenge to health and a major public health problem,an obstacle to social and economic development,and a high cost to the health care system.The prevention and control of chronic diseases has become the main content of disease prevention and control in China.Objective:Based on the mastery of the relevant theories of chronic disease prevention and control and the investigation of the chronic disease prevention and control literacy of the residents in a district of Changchun city,the prevention and control strategies of chronic diseases in this district were analyzed from different angles,and the strategies to solve the existing problems in the prevention and control of chronic diseases were put forward.Methods:Qualitative and quantitative methods were used in this study.First of all,the staff of the medical administration department of a district health Bureau of Changchun,the staff of the chronic disease Department of the district CDC and the medical staff of the health service center were interviewed.Then,a quantitative study was carried out on the residents in this area,that is,12 community health service centers were selected through stratified sampling,and 1200 residents within the jurisdiction were conveniently sampled as the survey objects.The household survey was conducted by filling in the"quality survey on the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases of residents in Jilin province".SPSS 19.0statistical software was used for univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis.Results:1200 people were surveyed,1,179 valid questionnaires were collected,and the questionnaire efficiency was 98.25%.Males accounted for 53.27%and females 46.73%,with an average age of 46.The literacy level of chronic disease prevention and treatment in a district of Changchun was 14.63%.Logistic regression analysis showed that education level,occupation,economic status,marital status and age were the influencing factors of chronic disease prevention and control literacy level of residents in the investigation area.Conclusions and Recommendations:As a state-level demonstration area for comprehensive prevention and control of chronic diseases,a district in Changchun has always adhered to the comprehensive prevention and control strategy of government-led departments cooperating with the society supporting the participation of the whole people.The literacy level of chronic disease prevention and control is higher than that of other regions,there is still work to be done.The prevention and control of chronic diseases has achieved encouraging results to some extent.Combined with the comprehensive prevention and control strategies for chronic diseases implemented in this region,Suggestions are proposed for the prevention and control of chronic diseases in other regions:（1）health education and health promotion should be taken as the primary prevention and control strategies for chronic diseases;（2）Strengthen prevention and control strategies for key groups and diseases,and implement targeted and precise interventions;（3）Detailed prevention and control targets,evaluation criteria and action and intervention measures.
