title, establishment, personnel type),cognition and implementation of health education for chronic diseases, and literacy of prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. In this study,a total of 3006 questionnaires were distributed,and2848 valid questionnaires were returned. The effective response rate was 94.74%.Epidata 3.1 was used for double data entry, and IBM SPSS 24.0 was used for data processing and statistical analysis.Results:1.The prevalence rate of chronic disease prevention and control literacy among grassroots medical staff in Jilin Province was 46.3%,and the attainment of the three aspects of chronic disease prevention and control literacy was as follows: the rate of basic knowledge and concept was 58.7%,the rate of healthy lifestyle and behavior was 37.5%,and the rate of health skills was 56.1%.2.The Bootstrap method with bias correction was used to test the mediating effect.Among the influences of basic knowledge and concept on healthy lifestyle and behavior, health skills played a partial mediating role. When health skills were included as a mediating variable, basic knowledge and beliefs were still significantly positive predictors of healthy lifestyle and behavior(P < 0.001).The mediating effect of health skill literacy between the two was 0.0381,with a confidence interval(95%CI: 0.0250,0.0530)for the indirect effects of health skills did not contain 0.3.In the three aspects of chronic disease prevention and treatment literacy questions, the answers to the questions “danger of diabetes”(98.0%),“recommended sleeping time for adults”(96.4%),and “methods of correct weight control”(94.1%)were relatively high. The questions of “risk factors of hypertension”(38.4%),“harmfulness of different types of tobacco”(45.4%),and “consistency of body type self-evaluation”(63.3%)were answered with a low rate of correctness.4.Gender,age,education level, region, technical title, establishment, and type of personnel were the influencing factors of the chronic disease prevention and treatment literacy of grassroots medical staff in Jilin Province. The prevalence of chronic disease prevention literacy in females was higher than that in males(OR=1.249,95%CI: 1.029-1.516).The attainment rate of chronic disease prevention and control in the age group of 18-29,30-39 and 40-49 was 1.506 times(95%CI: 1.092-2.079),1.876times(95%CI: 1.418-2.481)and 1.909 times(95%CI: 1.515-2.406),respectively,than that in the age group above 50.The prevalence of chronic disease prevention and control literacy among college students, undergraduates and above was 1.546 times(95%CI: 1.281-1.865)and 1.750 times(95%CI: 1.393-2.197)compared with those in high school and below. The prevalence of chronic disease prevention literacy among respondents in eastern and central regions was 1.679 times(95%CI: 1.349-2.090)and2.141 times(95%CI: 1.790-2.682)as compared with that in western regions. The higher the technical title, the higher the incidence of chronic disease prevention literacy. The attainment rate of chronic disease prevention literacy in contract and other programs was 0.709 times(95%CI: 0.569-0.883)and 0.733 times(95%CI:0.569-0.945)than that in career programs. The prevalence of chronic disease prevention literacy among clinicians was higher than that of nurses(95%CI:0.522-0.838)and medical technicians(95%CI: 0.4466-0.809).Conclusions:1.The literacy level of chronic disease prevention and treatment of grassroots medical staff in Jilin Province needs to be improved.2.In the
