Objective: To investigate the current situation of occupational stress and Coronary Heart Disease(CHD)among mental workers in Xinjiang, and to explore the influence of occupational stress on CHD.Methods: 1)Using the method of random cluster sampling,741 cases of mental workers in Urumqi were selected, and the occupational stress was evaluated based on the job content questionnaire(JCQ),so as to understand the current situation of coronary heart disease in mental workers.2)A case-control study was conducted,in which the case group was the patients with coronary heart disease(200people)and the control group was the healthy patients in the physical examination center(200 people). To explore the effect of occupational stress on coronary heart disease in mental workers. Results: 1)There were differences in JCQ job requirement scores among mental workers with different position, working ages and family history of hypertension(P<0.05).Different gender, ethnic group, marital status, monthly average income, length of service and smoking all had differences in JCQ work autonomy scores(P<0.05).There were differences in JCQ social support scores between different marital status and diabetes(P<0.05).2)The distribution of mental workers' occupational stress shows that the group with high occupational stress(55.6%)is higher than the group with low occupational stress.3)There were statistical differences between the groups with high and low occupational stress in terms of gender, working age and smoking status(P<0.05).4)The incidence of CHD was 62(8.4%)and 679(91.6%),respectively.5)The differences in the incidence of coronary heart disease at different ages and occupational stress levels were statistically significant(P<0.05).6)Different biochemical indicators were compared between the case group and the control group, and the differences were statistically significant in triglycerides, total cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein, and fasting blood glucose(P<0.05).7)The differences in length of service, shift work, smoking, drinking, sleep quality, physical exercise,BMI,WHR and occupational stress levels between the case group and the control group were statisticallysignificant(P<0.05).8)There were statistically significant differences in work requirements and social support scores between the case group and the control group(P<0.05).9)Logistic regression showed that working age, smoking, triglycerides, total cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, overweight and obesity,WHR and occupational stress were risk factors for CHD.Conclusion: The distribution of high occupational stress is common in mental workers, and the risk of coronary heart disease is higher in those with high occupational stress.
