Research On The Theoretical Connotation And Application Of Activating Spleen Method

Purpose:Through this research,to deepen the theoretical connotation of the theory of Activating spleen,to enrich its basic theory research,to consummate theoretical system of the Activating spleen method,so that we can expect to promote its clinical applicationMaterial and method:Used the Chinese Medical Classics and Du xiu to extract the elaboration of Activating spleen method form medical practitioners of the past dynasties.then collated and analysed these information of the elaboration,then searched its origin and development,explored its theoretical connotation.Used CNKI(China National Knowledge Internet),VIP(VIP China Science and Technology Journal Database),Wan fang Data(Wan fang Data Knowledge Service Platform)and CBM(China Biology Medicine disc)to retrieve the relevant papers about the "Activating spleen" in the last 30 years,selected information about prescriptions and disease of the papers,and then used the information to build a database,Processed information data by frequency statistical analysis and association rule analysis,to find the rules of the diseases it treated and drugs used.Results: 1.The word of “Activating spleen” in the existing ancient books firstly appeared in Shi Bian Liang Fang in the Southern Song Dynasty period.Before its appearance,many doctors' academic viewed and clinical medication embodied the thought of Activating spleen method.after its appearance,many doctors have developed and applied it,enriched the theoretical connotation and application scope of the Activating spleen method.2.752 modern prescriptions of Activating spleen were collected in the study of Modern clinical application.that received 327 traditional Chinese medicines that have been used 7562 times in total.the top 10 of the time used are respectively Bighead Atractylodes Rhizome,Poria Cocos,Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae,Rhizoma Atractylodis,Hawthorn,Liquorice,Fructus Aurantii Immaturus,Malt,Mangnolia Officinalis,Medicated Leaven.There are 68 traditional Chinese medicines that were used at a frequency of 20 times or more,they account for 20.80% of the total number of drugs,they are used 6141 times,account for 81.21% of the total number of the times used.The high frequency of the main efficacy of the drugs of the prescription of Activating spleen method are clearing damp,tonifying spleen,promoting the circulation of qi,removing phlegm,help digestion,tonifying qi,Relieving pain,clearing heat and dispersing cold.The main clinical application of Activating spleen method is in the treatment of anorexia,diarrhea,accounted for 44.21% of the total.And in the treatment of abdominal fullness,hypopepsia,cough,constipation,diabetes,stomach pain,abdominal pain,hepatic adipose infiltration,infantile malnutrition,vertigo and dyslipidaemia,it also have wider application.Conclusion: 1.Activating spleen method is based on the concept of constant movement and the concept of "Chong He Hua Wu".The spleen is in the middle-jiao,as the source of the acquired and the source of generating Qi and blood,it is an important power source and pivot for human body to maintain constant movement and the circulation of Qi and blood.The spleen is the Zhi Yin,as the pivot of rising and falling of Qi,if the spleen Qi is circulating fluent,the Yin and Yang of a body can interact successfully to manufacture Qi and blood.2.Activating spleen method is the way that the main purpose is to stretch the qi of spleen,restore the function of spleen transporting the digested food and working the activities of qi,and the main means is to dislodge the pathological factors of effecting the running of the qi of spleen,as dampness,phlegm,indigestion,stagnation of the circulation of vital energy,etc.3.Activating spleen method mainly uses the drugs as clearing damp,promoting the circulation of qi,eliminating phlegm,helping digestion,to treat the pathological factors bounding the qi of spleen,and uses the drugs as tonifying qi,,acesodyne,clearing heat,dispersing cold,removing stasis,check diarrhea,controlling nausea and vomiting,relieve a cough,to treat the accompanied symptoms of moving disfluency of spleen qi.4.Activating spleen method is mainly used for the treatment of a series of diseases with moving disfluency of spleen qi as the main pathogenesis,as diarrhea,anorexia,abdominal fullness,cough,diabetes,stomach pain,constipation,abdominal pain.
