Objective:This study could provide clinicians with a better understanding of UC and a better theoretical basis for the UC diagnosis and treatment through comparing characteristics and correlation between clinical parameters and endoscopic Mayo score among different age groups. Methods: We retrospectively analyse the clinical data of UC inpatients from Jan 2008 to May 2018 in the four centers in Northeast China, including population data?colonoscopy result?endoscopic Mayo score?laboratory characteristics. We divide the patients into young(<40y)?middle(?40y,<60y)?old(?60y)according to age?E1?E2?E3 acordding to Montreal classification and mild?middle?severe according to modified Truelove and Wittis disease severity classification. We analyse data by SPSS22.0 and draw by Graphpad prism.Result:In northeast China, inpatients with UC are dominated by E3 with slightly more males than females and extraintestinal manifestations and complications are infrequent. The incidence of mucopurulent bloody stool in young group is higher than in old group. The incidence of extraintestinal manifestations is higher in young and middle group than in old group. There are differences of part parameters among different age group. The incidence rate of extraintestinal manifestations is higher in young and middle group than in old group.Mild : MCV : The difference between young group and middle group has statistical significance(P=0.001,P<0.05),RDW-CV:The difference between middle group and old group has statistical significance(P=0.013,P<0.05).Middle:MCV:The differences between young and middle group? between middle and old group have statistical significance(P value 0.001?0.010,P<0.05),MCH:The differences between young and old group?between middle and old group have statistical significance(P value 0.002?0.010,P<0.05),RDW-CV:The difference between middle group and old group has statistical significance(P=0.048,P<0.05),IgM:The difference between young and old group has statistical significance(P=0.014,P<0.05).Severe:MCV:The differences between young and middle group? between young andold group have statistical significance(P value 0.005?0.001,P<0.05),MCH:The differences between young and middle group ? between young and old group have statistical significance(P value 0.026?0.008,P<0.05),PCT:The differences between young and middle group have statistical significance(P value 0.001,P<0.05),IgG:The differences between young and middle group ? between middle and old group have statistical significance(P value 0.014?0.010,P<0.05),C4:The difference between young group and old group has statistical significance(P=0.007,P<0.05).Young group:MCV?MCH are negative correlation with Mayo score(r value-0.185?-0.190,P<0.05),PLT?PCT are positive correlation with Mayo score(r value0.355?0.319,P<0.001),PDW?MPV are negative correlation with Mayo score(r value-0.233?-0.229,P<0.05),ESR??1??2 globin?C4 are positive correlation with Mayo score(r value 0.185?0.266?0.321?0.291,P<0.05).Middle group:HCT?MCV?MCH are negative correlation with Mayo score(r value-0.428?-0.315?-0.257,P<0.05),PLT?PCT are positive correlation with Mayo score(r value 0.329?0.201,P<0.05),PDW?MPV are negative correlation with Mayo score(r value-0.325?-0.320,P<0.001),ESR??1??2 globin?C4 are positive correlation with Mayo score(r value 0.329?0.519?0.479?0.288,P<0.05)?Old group : MCH are negative correlation with Mayo score(r=-0.431,P<0.05),ESR?IgG??1??2 globin are positive correlation with Mayo score(r value0.717?0.451?0.613?0.554,P<0.05)?In terms of judging endoscopic relief(Mes 0-1),With ?1 globulin 5.05% as the cutoff value, the area under the curve is 0.780,the sensitivity is 72.6%,the specificity is80%.With ?2 globulin 10.45% as the cutoff value, the area under the curve is 0.747,the sensitivity is 50% and the specificity is 93.3%.Conclusion:In northeast China, inpatients with UC are dominated by E3 with slightly more males than females and extraintestinal manifestations and complications are infrequent. The incidence of mucopurulent bloody stool in young group is higher than in old group. The incidence of extraintestinal manifestations is higher in young and middle group than in old group. There are differences of part parameters among different age group. The difference among different age groups are major in blood routine.?-globin has significant correlation with endoscopic Mayo score,it may help to judge whetherendoscopic relief of UC patients in different age.
