| Background: Ulcerative colitis(UC)is accompanied by a variety of extraintestinal manifestations(EIM).EIM is important for the diagnosis and treatment of UC.Objective: Retrospectively analyzed the incidence and disease types of UC patients with EIM,and analyzed the related risk factors of each EIM.Methods: The clinical data with UC patients undergoing treatment in Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from January 2015 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The incidence and disease types of UC patients with EIM were statistically analyzed.Univariate analysis was used to explore the clinical factors and risk factors of EIM.Results: A total of 409 patients with UC were included, including 119 patients with EIM,with an incidence of 29.1%,including more than 30 diseases of various systems such as joint disease, skin disease, ocular disease, hepatobiliary disease and so on.Single factor analysis showed that age,(chi-square = 7.522,P = 0.023),the scope of lesions(chi-square = 11.77,P = 0.003),statistical differences statistically significant disease activity(chi-square = 16.232,P < 0.001),gender: men and women(chi-square= 0.445,P = 0.505),clinical types: hair,at the beginning of chronic relapse type(chi-square = 1.003,P = 0.317)and endoscopic classification(chi-square = 5.551,P =0.062)and no obvious correlation between EIM.Mulariate logistic regression analysis showed that disease activity was a risk factor for the development of EIM in young and middle-aged(OR=0.967,95%CI: 0.951-0.983),extensive colitis(OR= 2.195,95%CI: 0.777-4.977),moderate(OR= 3.039,95%CI: 0.508-18.195)and severe(OR=10.632,95%CI: 1.022-44.008).Conclusion: The proportion of UC patients with EIM increases year by year, and the number of cases of system and disease types involved in EIM also increases year by year under the condition that the number of hospitalized UC patients is basically the same.30-60 years old,E3,moderate and severe activity are risk factors for the occurrence of EIM,which may indicate the risk of EIM in UC patients. |
