Clinical Observation Of Applying Acupoint Fuxue Huatan Powder In Treating Asthma Remission Period (Deficiency Of Lung And Kidney Yang) And Influence On The Serum Levels Of IL-33

Objective:To observe the effect of Fuxue Huatan Powder acupoint application on clinical symptom score,ACT questionnaire and serum IL-33 level in patients with asthma remission period(deficiency of lung and kidney yang),and to evaluate its clinical efficacy and safety.Methods:415 patients of bronchial asthma who were in remission period(deficiency of lung and kidney yang)were selected and treated with acupoint application of Fuxue Huatan Powder,we observed and compared their condition before the treatment and that after 6 months' treatment.That is to say,in 2017 and 2018,we began to give acupoint application to Fuxue Huatan Powder on the first day of summertime five times,lasted for 6 hours once and gave that per 7 days until the end of summer.Evaluated the patients' the clinical symptom score,ACT questionnaire and serum IL-33 level and evaluated again after 6 months' treatment,and evaluated the safety.Results:1.After treatment,the total score of clinical symptom scores decreased,and it was better than that before treatment(P<0.05),the total effective rate after treatment was 95.80%.2.After treatment,the results of ACT questionnaire of asthma control test were improved,and it was better than that before treatment(P<0.05),there was statistical difference before and after treatment.3.After treatment,the level of serum IL-33 decreased,and it was better than that before treatment(P<0.05),there was statistical difference before and after treatment.4.There were no significant changes in electrocardiogram,blood routine,urine routine,liver function,renal function and skin reaction of safety indexs before and after treatment.Conclusion:1.The clinical symptom score of patients with asthma remission period(deficiency of lung and kidney yang)can be reduced by acupoint applicationof Fuxue Huatan Powder,and the clinical symptoms were significantly improved.2.The results of ACT questionnaire of asthma control test in patients with asthma remission period(lung and kidney yang deficiency)can be improved by applying acupoint application of Fuxue Huatan Powder.3.The acupoint application of Fuxue Huatan Powder can reduce the level of IL-33 in serum of patients with asthma remission period(deficiency of lung and kidney yang).4.The safety of patients with asthma remission period(deficiency of lung and kidney yang)who were treated by acupoint application of Fuxue Huatan Powder is good.
