Objective:Observation on clinical efficacy of Qinglong Baiwei technique for treatment of muscle tension headache,and further optimize the acupuncture treatment of muscle tension headache treatment program.Methods:The 60 cases of muscle tension headache patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(Qinglong Baiwei technique group)and the control group(normal acupuncture group),30 cases in each group.The points in each independent group were Baihui,Shenting,Touwei,Fengchi,Hegu.Operation:First,The treatment group was treated with Qinglong Baiwei technique,take Baihui,Shenting,Touwei points with the scalp 15 to 30 degree backward oblique needle where the depth of about 25 to 30 millimeter,the needle tip of Fengchi acupoint is obliquely thrust into the tip of nose,about 25 to 35 millimeter,and Hegu point straight prick 15 to 20 millimeter.Holding the handle of the needle with the thumb and index finger after getting gas from the needle,gently move back and forth.If the patient feels pain is unbearable or under the needle felt too tight to move,just pull the needle back slightly to the superficial layer,and then to move the needle back and forth.The angle of motion is determined by the patien's tolerance.three minutes in turn,the holes swing.cause the patients acupuncture local to have the more prominent acid bilge numbness feeling.Second,The normal acupuncture group was treated with mild-reinforcing-and-attenuating at all the points.Once a day and lasted for 2 weeks.Assess their therapy effects by using Visual Analogue Scale(VAS).Results:1.two groups of patients with VAS scale: After treatment,VAS were decreased significantly in the two groups(P< 0.01).The decreasing degree of the VAS scale in the Qinglong Baiwei technique group was more obvious than that in the normal acupuncture group(P<0.05).2.The clinical curative effect of the two groups: The cured and markedly effective rate of the treatment group(Qinglong Baiwei technique group)was80.0%(24/30),which was better than that of the control group(normal acupuncture group)by 53.3%(16/30)(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Qinglong Baiwei technique and normal mild-reinforcing-and-attenuating both can effectively improve the headache degree of patients with muscle tension headache.2.The clinical efficacy of Qinglong Baiwei technique for the treatment of muscle tension headache is superior to that of conventional acupuncture.
