| Objective:Discuss the clinical effect and function mechanism on Tension-Type Headache (TTH) by acupuncture treatment.Methods:Following the theories of TCM and clinical practice.33case studies on TTH were conducted, treating controlled group with body needle based on Meridian and Luo point location in4weeks period, and17more case studies on patients taking Paracetamol pills.Results:Four weeks course treatment late, the results showed that33cases treated.8cases were cured (24.24%).10cases significantly improved (30.30%).12cases improved (36.36%) and3cases ineffective (9.09%)_the total effective rate was90.90%.There are no side effects. addiction and recrudesce even after the acupuncture treatment Suggest that acupuncture treatment has an effective influence on Tension_Type Headache. And there is no significant difference in objective curative effect between the two groups (Acupuncture group/TTH potion group).Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment is on of the effective means to cure Tension-Type Headache. Its functional mechanism may be controlled by acupuncture on brain’s blood circulation, neurological function and endocrine function. multi-way synthetic function to reach the expection. |
