Clinical Research Of Long's Chiropractic Technique For Treatment Of Tension-type Headache

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Long's Chiropractic Technique in treating Tension-type headache;and further clarify the duration of headache symptom relief and degree of remission.Methods: All cases were chosen from Neurology Department inpatients with Tension-type Headache,which were treating from September 1,2017 to December 1,2019 between 20 and 60 years old.90 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,each group of 45 cases.The treatment group was treated with Long's Chiropractic Technique and drugs,and the control group was treated with drugs.All cases were treated continuously for 10 days.The visual analogue scale(VAS scale)score and headache symptom scale score were recorded before treatment and after the last treatment.Results:(1)Within group comparison:After the treatment,which evaluated by VAS scores and headache index scores in the two grou-ps were decreased to some extent,and the improvement of the treatment group was significantly different(P<0.01).(2)Comparison between groups:After the treatment,the two courses of treatment which evaluated by VAS scores between the two groups was significant difference(P<0.01),and which evaluated by the headache symptoms index,there was statistically significant(P<0.05)between the two groups.Conclusion:Long's chiropractic Technique is a bone setting method for the treatment of spinal joint structure disorder.After the treatment of cervical spine joint by Long's chiropractic Technique,the scores of each scale of the patients were reduced to varying degrees.The results showed that the treatment of Long's could improve the symptoms of Tension-typeheadache and pain.It also indicated that the cervical joint structure disorder and Tension-type headache have important significance.
