Objective: Based on the syndrome differentiation of damp-heat and triple energizer in the science of epidemic febrile diseases of traditional Chinese medicine, the clinical efficacy of Xuanbi Decoction combined with Zhisou Powder in treating Post-infectious cough with Damp-heat obstruction of lung syndrome was observed, which provided a new idea for the clinical differentiation and treatment of Post-infectious cough.Method: The patients with Post-infectious cough with damp-heat obstruction of the lung syndrome, who visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2018 to December 2018 were treated with Xuanbi Decoction and Zhisou Powder for one week.General data of the patients were collected. The scores of TCM syndromes, cough visual analogue scale(VAS)and Leicester Cough Quality of Life Questionnaire(LCQ)were recorded before and after treatment. The patients were followed up one month after treatment.SPSS21.0 statistical software was used for data analysis.Measurement data were expressed as mean plus minus standard deviation.Paired t test was used for normal distribution and Wilcoxon sign rank test was used for non-normal distribution.P < 0.05 indicates that the difference has statistical significance and P<0.01 indicates that the difference has significant statistical significance.Result: In this study,66 patients with Post-infectious cough of damp-heat obstruction of the lung syndrome were included,4 cases were dropped,2 cases were excluded, and 60 cases were completed. There were 23males(38.33%)and 37 females(61.67%).22 cases aged 18-30,accounting for36.67%;18 cases aged 30-45,accounting for 30.00%;20 cases aged 45-60,accounting for 33.33%.The longest course was 8 weeks, and the shortest course was 3 weeks, averaging 5.23 ± 1.52 weeks.Xuanbi Decoction and Zhisou Powder were added or subtracted, the fastest and the slowest effect was 1 day and 7 days, with an average of 4.47 ± 1.89 days. One week after treatment,0 cases were cured,38 cases were markedly effective,17 caseswere effective and 5 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was91.67%.After treatment, the scores of day cough symptoms and night cough symptoms decreased compared with those before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01);after treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes decreased compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).After treatment, the VAS score and LCQ regional scores were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).There were no adverse reactions in 60 patients during the course of treatment. After treatment,36 patients were followed up.13 cases were cured,16 cases were markedly effective,7 cases were effective and 0 cases were ineffective.Conclusion:1.Xuanbi Decoction combined with Zhisou Powder is effective in treating Post-infectious cough with damp-heat obstruction of the lung syndrome, which can effectively improve the cough symptoms and TCM syndromes of patients.2.Xuanbi Decoction combined with Zhisou Powder can effectively improve the subjective symptoms and quality of life of patients with post-infection cough with damp-heat obstruction of the lung syndrome.3.Xuanbi Decoction combined with Zhisou Powder is safe and effective in the treatment of post-infectious cough with damp-heat obstruction of the lung syndrome without adverse reactions.
