Survey On Health Education Status,Satisfaction And Demand Of Community Residents In Shijiazhuang City

Objectives:This paper is to understand the status,satisfaction and demand of urban residents accepting health education in Shijiazhuang City,in order to provide the basis for the health education work in this city and explore the suitable model.Methods:The study adopts the form of questionnaire survey,which is designed and modified by experts.A total of 1020 resident residents of 5communities in Shijiazhuang City were investigated.After the residents filled in each item,the questionnaire were sent back to the investigators which include the followings:residents'basic information,residents cognition of health concepts,residents'participation in health education and satisfaction,residents'cognition of family doctors,and residents'demand for health education,etc.Results:The survey shows that residents'intention of first diagnosis in the community is 70.7%,and the family doctor contracted rate was31.7%.The prevalence rate of chronic diseases in this survey was 42.5%,smoking rate was 52.6%,drinking rate was 42.9%,83.2%of the population still believe that health is only one-sided physical health,only 52.7%have received health education,mainly in the form of television and other media(41.9%)and disease brochure(36.2%),the main content is chronic disease management(39%)and prevention of chronic diseases(34.6%),satisfaction rate 54.4%;Residents believe that the barriers to access to health knowledge mainly is the lack of time and no interests(61.4%)and thinking of unscientific TV newspapers,etc.,(49.7%),people of different age have different hindering factors,the difference is statistically significant(?~2=278.29,P<0.01).Survey residents want the way of receiving health education is television and other media(74.7%)and family physicians regular follow-up(53.4%),the content is prevention of chronic diseases(74.5%)and reasonable diet(71.9%),There was a significant difference in methods of health education hope received by residents with different age,culture level,and income(P<0.05).There was no difference in methods of health education hope received by residents with different gender,occupation,and chronic diseases situation(P>0.05)..There was significant difference in content of health education hope received by residents with different age,culture level,income,and chronic diseases situation(P<0.05).There was no difference in content of health education hope received by residents with different gender and occupation(P>0.05).Conclusion:The community health education in Shijiazhuang City is insufficient,the residents'participation degree and satisfaction are general,and the proportion of chronic diseases and bad lifestyle is high.The community should strengthen multi-party cooperation to exert the function of health service and realize the improvement of residents'health level.It is necessary to carry out health education and improve the quality and the effect of health education intervention according to the needs of health education of residents of different characteristics and through multiple channels on the basis of increasing publicity.
