Investigating The Establishment And Utilization Of Health Records In YouYiLu Community Health Service Center Of HeXi District In Tianjin

Objective:By investigating the community residents and community medical workers, this paper aims to study the establishment and utilization of health records, specifically to discuss the constraints to better establish and use health records, then provide proposals from a more objective, specific and practical point of view for playing the health records efficiency.Methods:The informants are the community residents and community medical workers in YouYiLu Community Health Center, Hexi District, Tianjin. The issued questionnaires include300for community residents and32for community medical personnel. The records were entered by Epidata3.1and analysed by PASW18.0, in the research, different analytical methods including cumulative probability, chi-square test and logistic regression, and so on. The level of test is a=0.05(two-side).Results:①The average health record life of residents who had already own the health record is5.04years, the health records are mainly established by community personal door filing and physical check.①he frequency difference between up and down60-year-old age was not statistically significant, X2=5.56, P=0.24, annual physical check is almost the only chance for the residents to get in touch with their health records.②36.3%of community health workers follow-up health records once a year, the frequency of56.3%community health workers to use the health records understanding the patient information and medication information is low,40.5%of community health workers think that the health records information just has little value.④The acceptance rate of health records in community residents is83.1%,and it is higher than the34.4%acceptance rate in community health workers.⑤The awareness of the community residents and community residents that the health records can help reduce the level of medical costs is generally low, they separately are67.6%and37.5%.Conclusions:The Government should continue to play a leading role in the establishment and utilization of the health records, and gradually regulate the health records from follow-up, information protection, information technology, and so on. Meanwhile focus on improving the motivation of community residents and medical workers, especially the health records training for community health workers. Then ultimately form the long-term development mechanism of regional health information system based on the health records, to play the basic role of the health records in enhancing the level of medical health services.
