Research background: Oral cavity is a complex and complete microecosystem with specific structure, temperature, wettability and nutrients from food residues. It provides the suitable environment and conditions for the colonization and reproduction of all microorganisms in the oral cavity. When the p H value of saliva is kept at 6.6~ 7.1,there is a dynamic balance between various microorganisms in the oral cavity, and also between the host and the microorganism. At the same time,it is involved in metabolism, immunity, nutrition and maintenance of oral health. As the research objects, fifty students who met the requirements and volunteered to participate in the experiment were selected from Heze Domestic Professional College, according to the needs of the project,we selected 18 time points of one day and tested the oral saliva p H value of the students for 7days to explore the relationship between the oral saliva p H value and oral health or oral life habits of the students by means of oral health examinations and oral health questionnaire survey.Purpose: Through the study of the relationship between oral saliva pH value and oral health or oral life habits of students,we can draw conclusions, make suggestions and put forward countermeasures. It can provide a theoretical basis for the choice and timing of oral health care for students in Heze Domestic Professional College, and improve the ability of prevention and treatment of oral diseases to a certain extent, and can also provide some help for individual to assess the risk of oral diseases.Method :As the object of study, fifty students who met the requirements and volunteered to participate in the experiment were selected from Heze Domestic Professional College.Oral saliva p H value was measured at 18 time points per day and recorded for 7 days. The questionnaire on oral health of students in Heze Domestic Professional College was compiled and was conducted in the form of on-the-spot students’ self-filling.We examined the oral health condition of students in Heze Domestic Science College and recorded the results of data.Combined with three groups of data: p H value of oral saliva, oral health condition and oral life habits,SPSS20.0 logarithm was used.According to statistical analysis,p < 0.05 indicates that the difference is statistically significant.Results:1.By monitoring and recording oral saliva p H value at 18 time points per day for7 days, the results of data analysis showed that the p H value of oral saliva has a dynamic change that is the p H value of oral saliva was at the lowest value at ’getting up immediately’ in the morning, increased before breakfast, and the p H value of oral saliva was at the highest value at ’immediately after meal’.The p H value of oral saliva decreased gradually at 5 minutes,10 minutes and 15 minutes after meal, and the p H value of oral saliva increased slightly before bedtime. There was a significant difference in the p H value of oral saliva between students at different time points(p < 0.05).2.Twenty-seven cases of dental caries were detected in 50 students in oral health survey, and the incidence of dental caries was 54%.The number of unfilled teeth(D)was 42,the number of missing teeth(M)was 6,the number of teeth with caries was 14(F),and the number of teeth(DMFT)was 62.The detection rate of gingival bleeding and dental stone were 40% and 48% respectively. The incidence of dental caries in girls was significantly higher than that in boys, and the detection rate of dental stones and gingival bleeding in boys was significantly higher than that in girls.3.The regulation of oral saliva p H value and oral health condition of students at different time points: the p H value of oral saliva in the group with dental caries immediately after getting up in the morning was significantly lower than that in the group without dental caries(p < 0.05);There was no significant difference between p H value and DMFT index in oral saliva before breakfast, immediately after breakfast,5 minutes after breakfast,10 minutes after breakfast,15 minutes after breakfast,10:00 at noon,8 points before bedtime(p > 0.05).The p H value and CPI index of oral saliva before bedtime were statistically significant(p < 0.05).4.The regulation of oral saliva p H value and oral health habit of students: the p H value of oral saliva of the students brushing teeth twice or more times with dental caries was significantly lower than that of the students brushing teeth less than two times without dental caries(p < 0.05).The effects of brushing teeth twice or more on the incidence of caries were statistically significant(p < 0.05),and the effects of eating sweet food frequently on the incidence of caries were statistically significant(p < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The p H value of oral saliva changed dynamically with brushing teeth, eating, sleeping and other factors.2.The detection rate of dental caries, gingival bleeding, dental stone of students is higher. The incidence of dental caries in girls was significantly higher than that in boys, and the detection rate of dental stones and gingival bleeding in boys was significantly higher than that in girls.Immediately after getting up,the lowest p H value of oral saliva had an important effect on the incidence of dental caries, and the oral health was not good.3.Students eat sweet food and brush their teeth less frequently, which is an important influence factor of lower p H value of oral saliva. At the same time,it is easy to lead to dental caries, and the students’ awareness of oral health care is weak.
