Clinical Efficacy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Application Combined With Xiaojie Sanying Decoction In Treating Thyroid Nodules(phlegm Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type)

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine application combined with Xiaojie Sanying decoction in the treatment of thyroid nodules(phlegm stagnation and blood stasis type).Methods: 42 patients with thyroid nodules(phlegm stagnation and blood stasis type)were selected from the outpatient departments of the Endocrinology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The patients were treated with traditional Chinese medicine application combined with Xiaojie Sanying decoction for 12 weeks.To observe the changes of thyroid nodules diameter and TCM symptoms score after treatment.Results: After 12 weeks of treatment,the score of TCM symptoms and the diameter of thyroid nodules were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant.After treatment,the effective rate of TCM symptoms was 90.0%,the effective rate of reduction of thyroid nodules diameter was 77.5%.There was no change in thyroid function and thyroid autoimmune antibodies before and after treatment(P > 0.05).The difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion: 1.The diameter of nodules in patients with thyroid nodules(phlegm stagnation and blood stasis type)can be reduced by traditional Chinese medicine application combined with Xiaojie Sanying decoction.2.Traditional Chinese medicine application combined with Xiaojie Sanying decoction can improve the TCM symptoms and signs of patients with thyroid nodules(phlegm stagnation and blood stasis type).
