Study On The Physical Distribution Of Three Yin And Three Yang In Patients With Benign Thyroid Nodules

Objective: Our study analyses the distribution law and characteristics of Sanyin Sanyang constitution in patients with thyroid nodules statistically by collecting the data of constitution of TCM in these patients with thyroid nodules,thus exploring the relationship between susceptible constitution and related factors,which provides some references for early diagnosis and individualized prevention and treatment of thyroid nodules,and enriching the theory of Sanyin Sanyang constitution,which will be better serve the clinic practice.Materials and methods In this study,the information related to 116 patients with thyroid nodules in the outpatient and ward of Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the year of 2018 to 2019.During the investigation,patients were asked to try their best to recall the symptoms of long period(e.g.one year)before thyroid nodules were found.By combining qualitative and quantitative methods and putting the test results data into Excel form of SPSS25.0 software,the patients' constitution can be finally judged comprehensively,and the final conclusion can be drawn.Results: 1 A total of 116 patients with thyroid nodules were included in this study,including 18 males(15.5%)and 98 females(84.5%).The ratio of males to females was about 1:5.4.The youngest age was 22 years old and the oldest was 87 years old.The average age was 55.86(+14.718).The average age of male patients was 57.50(+13.687)and female patients was 55.56(+14.946).2 Among the 116 patients with thyroid nodules.The Taiyang constitution and Jueyin constitution were the most common type and shared the same proportion of 26.70%.The next constitution was Shaoyang constitution(19.80%),Taiyin constitution(17.20%),Shaoyin constitution(6.0%)and Yangming constitution(3.40%)respectively.Among the common constitutional types of adenonodule patients,Shaoyin system and Yangming constitution accounted for the smallest proportion.According to different subtypes,the groups were divided into Taiyang type A,Jueyin type B,Shaoyang type C,Shaoyang type A,Taiyin type C, Jueyin type A,Taiyang type B,Taiyin type B,Shaoyin type B,Taiyang type C,Yangming type A,Taiyin type A,Shaoyin type A,and the proportion was 16.40%,11.20%,10.30%,9.50%,8.60%,6.90%,6.00%,5.20%,4.30%,3.40%,1.70% and 0.90% respectively.Among them,Taiyang A,Jueyin B and Shaoyang C are the most common subtypes.Yangming type A is the only one subtype of Yangming constitution,accounting for 4.70%.3 Among 116 patients with thyroid nodules included in the study,there were significant differences in factors including etiological classification,age,personality,energy,TSH,TPO-Ab and six constitutions,(p < 0.05).Conclusion: 1 Benign thyroid nodules are common in the elderly(?60 years old).The prevalence of benign thyroid nodules in females is significantly higher than that in males.2 Benign thyroid nodules occur predominantly in the Taiyang constitution,Jueyin constitution,Shaoyang constitution and Taiyin constitution.According to the classification of subtypes,benign thyroid nodules are more likely to occur in the constitutions of Taiyang type A,Jueyin type B and Shaoyang type C.3 According to the age group,the younger group(? 44 years old)was more likely to acuqire Shaoyang constitution,the middle-aged group(45-59 years old)was more likely to acuqire Jueyin and Shaoyang constitution,and the older group(?60 years old)was more likely to have Taiyang and Taiyin constitution.4 Patients with benign thyroid nodules of Shaoyang constitution and Jueyin constitution are more likely to show insufficient energy.5 Among the patients with benign thyroid nodules,Shaoyang constitution was predisposed to acquire the Hashimoto's thyroiditis,accompanied by elevated TSH and TPO-Ab,and Sun and Jueyin constitution were predisposed to nodular goiter.
