Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Benign Simple Thyroid Nodules With External Application Of Chinese Herbal Medicine

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine on benign simple thyroid nodules(the type of liver depression,phlegm coagulation and blood stasis),to study the effect of the plaster on benign simple thyroid nodules,and the effectiveness and safety of the plaster.To summarize and analyze the content and data of this study,and further standardize the technical operation method of external application of Chinese medicine.Methods:The study used a randomized controlled method,which meet the diagnostic criteria of benign simple thyroid nodules(the type of liver depression,phlegm coagulation and blood stasis)60 patients were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group combined external application of Chinese medicine with oral administration of Prunella vulgaris Granules,and the control group took oral administration of Prunella vulgaris particles,both groups received treatment for 12 weeks.12 months.After the course of treatment,clinical evaluation was done for the results of this observation.Estimate the clinical symptoms and signs of changes,and the related indicators'variation,which included the largest diameter of thyroid nodular,thyroid function,hepatorenal function,blood routine examination,security index,integration of Chinese medicine syndrome and curative effect grade,and make a record of the above items.Contrast whether the treatment brought improvement or no change;manage the experimental results with statistical analysis.All the data were analyzed by SPSS17.0 software for statistical analysis.Results:There was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,maximal nodular diameter of thyroid nodules between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which indicated that the two groups of data were comparable.There were differences in the total effective rate,TCM symptom,TCM symptom score and degree of thyroid nodule reduction(P<0.05).The follow-up study showed that external application of Chinese medicine with oral administration of Prunella vulgaris Granules for the recurrence rate of benign simple thyroid nodules was better than that of oral administration of Prunella vulgaris.Conclusion:From the preliminary clinical study,external application of Chinese medicine combined with oral administration of Prunella vulgaris Granules can improve the clinical symptoms of benign simple thyroid nodules,reduce the size of the nodules,reduce the recurrence rate,which will not cause the thyroid function and thyroid antibody changes.No hepatorenal function damage.This method is safe,economical,effective and reliable,and its mechanism is worthy of further study for the majority of patients to reduce the pain of patients.
