Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Primary Headache With Wind Medicine

Objective Observing the therapeutic effect of Wind prescription on primary headache,and to provide a new therapeutic idea for the treatment of primary headache by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods Referring to the Guiding Principles for Clinical Research of New Chinese Medicine,40 patients with primary headache were collected.The treatment was based on self-made prescriptions of wind and syndrome differentiation.The course of treatment was 4 weeks.The changes of headache efficacy score and TCM syndrome efficacy score before and after treatment were compared.Results(1)Before and after treatment,the scores of number of attacks,degree of headache,duration,accompanying symptoms and the total score of headache were all decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The results showed that the frequency,degree,duration,accompanying symptoms and general condition of headache were improved after 4 weeks of treatment.(2)The scores of TCM syndromes decreased before and after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).It shows that the TCM syndromes have been improved after 4 weeks of treatment.Conclusion(1)The prescription of wind medicine has certain curative effect on treating primary headache.(2)Wind prescription has certain effect on improving TCM syndromes of patients with primary headache.(3)Wind prescription is safe and effective in the treatment of primary headache without obvious adverse reactions.(4)After reasonable compatibility,wind medicine can be used to treat internal injury headache,which is safe and reliable,and has certain curative effect.
