Objective:To observe the clinical symptoms and signs improvement of chronic rhinosinusitis with syndrome of qi deficiency of lung and spleen treated by Tuoli Tongdou Decoction,and compared with the positive drug group,Observation of the curative effect.Methods:According to the diagnostic,inclusion and exclusion criteria,selected 60 patients who were with chronic rhinosinusitis with syndrome of qi deficiency of lung and spleen(no nasal polyps),by using the method of simple random grouping,divided it into the Chinese medicine group and the control group.30 cases of the Chinese medicine group used Tuoli Tongdou Decoction to oral,30 cases of the control group,treated with Roxithromycin Sustained Release Capsules and Mometasone Furoate Aqueous Nasal Spray.Evaluation the subjective indicators(Visual Analogue Score,VAS)and objective indicators(Lund-Kennedy scale and Lund-Mackay scale)before and after treatment in the two groups.Results:1.General data :The gender,age,course of disease and other general data of the two groups were compared before treatment,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and it was comparable.2.Subjective symptoms(Nasal obstruction,runny nose,headache and hyposmia): After 4 weeks of treatment,scores of subjective symptoms were decreased in both groups.There were significant relieve in nasal obstruction and runny nose of the Chinese medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores between headache,hyposmia and objective evaluation,and it had no statistical significance(P>0.05).3.Lund-Kennedy scores: After 4 weeks of treatment,the two groups of Lund-Kennedy scores were decreased,and the differences between the two groups were not significant,it has no statistical significance(P>0.05).4.Lund-Mackay scores: After 4 weeks of treatment,the two groups of Lund-Kennedy scores were decreased,and the differences between the two groups were not significant,it has no statistical significance(P>0.05).5.The total curative effects: After 4 weeks of treatment,the total efficiency of the Chinese medicine group and control group was 86.67% and 63.33%,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Adverse events:No adverse reactions were observed in both groups.Conclusion : Tuoli Tongdou Decoction have certain effect to alleviating nasal congestion,reducing runny nose,alleviating headache,improving olfaction and so on.It develops a new thought and method for treating CRS.However,large samples and high quality studies are needed to observe its long-term efficacy and mechanism.
