Clinical Study On Treatment Of Chronic Rhinosinusitis In Children With Lung Qi Deficiency And Cold Type By Wenfei Tongqiao Decoction

Objective: To study the effect of warm-lung Tongqiao decoction on the treatment of chronic nasal-nasal inflammation of children with lung-qi deficiency and cold,and the recurrence rate after 3-month follow-up.Methods: The study cases were collected in the pediatric outpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Heilongjiang Province.60 patients were randomly divided into two groups,named as experimental group and control group,and the sex of male and female was not limited.The patients in the experimental group were treated with warm-lung Tongqiao decoction,and the patients in the control group were treated with Tongqiaoyan capsule,and the treatment course was 1 month.The symptoms and signs of the two groups were observed,and the observation table was filled in.The two groups of data were compared,analyzed and concluded.Results :(1)One month after treatment,the recorded data were analyzed and calculated,and the results showed that the total effective rate was 96.4%in the experimental group and 89.7% in the control group.The results showed that the total effective rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the overall effect was significantly different(P < 0.05).(2)After treatment,the improvement results of nasal congestion,runny nose and olfactory disorder in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group(P < 0.05).(3)After treatment,the improvement results of nasal secretions,nasal mucosa redness and turbinate enlargement in the experimental group were also better than those in the control group(P < 0.05).(4)3 months after follow-up,the recurrence rate was 11.8% in the experimental group and 20.0% in the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusions:(1)Wenfei tongqiao decoction has a good clinical effect in the treatmentof chronic nasosinusitis in children with pulmonary qi deficiency and cold;(2)Wenfei tongqiao decoction can significantly improve the symptoms of nasal congestion,runny nose,smell disorders,turbinate enlargement and other symptoms in children with pulmonary qi deficiency and cold type chronic rhinosinusitis;(3)Wenfei tongqiao decoction can effectively reduce the recurrence rate of chronic rhinosinusitis in children.
