Observation Of Curative Effect Of Acupoint Thread Embedding Combined With Flat Needling In The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective:To compare the clinical efficacy of simple acupuncture and acupoint thread embedding combined with flat needling in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation,observe the safety and efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding combined with flat needling in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation,so as to obtain better curative effect,safety,simpler and less pain treatment basis for patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.Methods:The patients with lumbar disc herniation from May 2018 until December 2018 in neurology department of Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into treatment group(acupoint catgut embedding therapy with horizontal insertion of needle)and control group(clinical efficacy of simple acupuncture therapy).30 cases per group.Because of the intervertebral disc protrusion of waist 4 and 5,lumbar 5 sacral 1 was more common,the main points of lumbar acupoints were DaChang shu(double)and GuanYuan shu(double),and the hip select Huantiao point on the affected side,and FeiYang points were taken as the main points on the affected side of the leg.The two groups take the same acupuncture points.Methods of operation:?choose the lateral decubitus position and strictly sterilized.?use the disposable sterile tweezers to put 2 pieces of collagen line around 4cm into the thread-embedding needle.?Vertical and quickly penetrate the skin to the lunbar's Dachangshu and Guanyuanshu,the depth is 5cm,the patient has the sense of deqi(the feelings about acid,numbness,distension)is better.?Pull out the needle and press the sterilized cotton ball on the hold and stop the bleeding.Control group is simple acupuncture,acupoints are the same.On the lumbar around 5cm but the Feiyang point is penetrate the skin by vertical around 3.3cm.Treatment group is once per two weeks,6 weeks for a course.Control group is 3 times per week,3 weeks for a course.VAS,ODI and JOA were used to evaluate the outcome of the treatment.Result:Total of 60 patients participated in this experiment,two groups around age,gender,disease,duration were no statistically different(P<0.05);two groups were comparable.Treatment group and control group for Lumbar Disc Herniation has a significant effect.Treatment of 9 cases were recovered,15 cases were excellence improved,5 cases were good improved and 1 case no effect,the total effective rate was 96.66%.About control group,5 cases recovered,9 cases excellence improved,14 cases good improved and 2 cases no effect,the total effective rate was 93.33%.Two sets of effects were compared by statistical tests(P<0.05)difference was statistically significant.The efficacy of two groups after treatment had good efficacy in the treatment group than the control group.Conclusion:Prepared two groups of the efficacy,the treatment group is better than control group.Acupoint catgut embedding therapy with horizontal insertion of needle has a good short and long term efficacy.Embedding therapy and has less side effect,painless,easy to operate,less invasive,less treatment,safety and the great clinical value.
