Clinical Observation Of Acupoint Catgut Implantation In The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of treating lumbar intervertebral disc herniation by muscle layer catgut embedding based on syndrome differentiation.Methods:Sixty patients with lumbar disc herniation who met the in clusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups according to the time of first visit.30 patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation in the treatment group were treated with acupoint catgut embedding.Onc-e every 14 days for a course of treatment,a total of 2 times.30 patien ts in the control group were treated with acupuncture combined with el-ectroacupuncture.Once a day for 6 consecutive days,rest for 1 day,2weeks for a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment.Patien-ts in the two groups were evaluated on the lumbar comprehensive disease score(JOA)and visual analogue scale(VAS),as well as efficacy after one course of treatment and after treatment.The results were analy zed by SPSS20.0 statistical software.Results: 1.Compared with the efficacy evaluation of the two groups,the total effective rate of the treatment group after treatment was 93.33%,and that of the control group was 80.00%(P<0.05),The difference was statistically significant.The recovery rate of the treatment group was66.66% compared with the control group(20.00%,P<0.01),the difference was very significant.2.JOA and VAS scores of the two groups were significantly better than those before treatment(P<0.01)after one course of treatment and after treatment,with extremely significant differences.3.JOA and VAS scores of the treatment group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01)after one course of treatment and after treatment,with statistical significance.Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of acupoint catgut embedding group was positive,the improvement of JOA score and reduction of VAS score weresuperior to electroacupuncture.This study was based on acupuncture and meridian therapy,divide meridians and treat patients' diseases and apply acupoint muscular layer catgut embedding therapy.It caneffectively relieve patients' pain symptoms and improve patients' lumbar spine dysfunction,and has a good clinical effect,which is worthy ofwide application in clinical practice.
