Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation (Blood Stasis Syndrome) By Acupoint Sticking And Acupuncture

Objective: Through a randomized controlled study,the efficacy of acupoint application combined with acupuncture and simple acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation was compared,and whether acupoint application was better than simple acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation was discussed.To provide reference for clinical application of acupoints in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods: Seventy-two patients with lumbar disc herniation were divided into two groups by random number table.They were treated by acupoint application combined with acupuncture and control group by simple acupuncture.Within three days before admission and at the end of the fifth week of treatment,patients were assessed by filling out the Oswestry Dysfunction Index(ODI),the Japanese Orthopaedic Association Assessment of Low Back Pain Scale(JOA)and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS).According to the corresponding scoring results,SPSS 23.0 software was used for statistical analysis.The differences of each scale between the two groups before and after treatment were compared,and the therapeutic effect of Acupoint Application Therapy on lumbar disc herniation was analyzed.Results:1.Comparison of the two groups before and after: JOA score,ODI score and VAS score between the two groups were significantly different(P < 0.05),the results showed that the two therapies had good effects on improving the function and alleviating pain of patients with lumbar disc herniation.2.Comparison between the two groups: JOA score and ODI score between the two groups were significantly different(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in restoring patients' dysfunction.There was no significant difference in VAS score(P > 0.05),indicating that the two groups had similar analgesic effect.3.The total effective rate was 94.44% in the treatment group and 94.11% in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).The resultsshowed that acupoint application combined with acupuncture treatment and simple acupuncture treatment were effective for lumbar disc herniation.However,the effective rate of the treatment group was 41.67%,and that of the control group was 26.47%,suggesting that the effect of acupoint application combined with acupuncture therapy is better than that of simple acupuncture therapy.
