| Objective: To investigate the status and influence factors of breastfeeding self-efficacy of second child nurses in Urumqi 3A general hospital during pregnancy,and to analyze the influencing factors of self-efficacy.Methods: 1.The random number table method is used to extract the Xinjiang Urumqi six level of first-class comprehensive hospital,the application of general data questionnaire,breastfeeding self-efficacy scale short form(BSES-SF),breastfeeding knowledge questionnaire and social support scale(SSRS),the six hospital clinical departments to work within the second child of pregnancy nurses breastfeeding self-efficacy and social support of the investigation,to explore the basic current situation and influencing factors.2.Using the method of objective sampling,a semi-structured in-depth interview was conducted among 14 postpartum nurses returning to work in 4 first-class general hospitals of Urumqi.Colaizzi’s phenomenological analysis method was used to analyze the interview data.Results: BSES-SF scores of second child pregnancy nurses in Urumqi third-grade a general hospital were 42.18±11.76,26.42±5.34 and 11.27±4.58.2.The SSRS score of the second child pregnancy nurses in Urumqi third-grade a general hospital was 38.72±5.94,the subjective support score was 22.19±4.87,the objective support score was 10.31±5.58,and the support utilization score was 8.74±2.06.3.The general socio-demographic results in the univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in age,nationality,education level,department,feeding mode within six months after the first birth,feeding mode within six months after the expected delivery,and whether there was special person to take care of the baby after delivery,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).4.The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the factors influencing the self-efficacy of breastfeeding during the second child pregnancy included age,ethnicity,education level,feeding mode within six months after the first pregnancy,feeding mode within six months after the expected delivery,whether there was special person to take care of the mother,breastfeeding knowledge score and social support score.5.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the total score and each dimension of self-efficacy of breastfeeding were closely related to the score and each dimension of breastfeeding knowledge,as well as the total score and each dimension of social support(P<0.05),showing a positive correlation.6.Qualitative interview result to understand:their own health,work,living environment pressure,economic condition,family structure and the change of career planning,social support affect second child postpartum back nurse breastfeeding self-efficacy,good health,social support can promote second child postpartum back nurse insisted on breastfeeding,pressure is too large,the better economic conditions have a negative impact.Conclusion: 1.The second child in the level of first-class comprehensive hospital in Urumqi during pregnancy nurses breastfeeding self-efficacy in the medium level,prompt nursing managers should pay attention to the management of pregnancy nurses,professional knowledge and skills training to strengthen their breastfeeding,while giving proper care and psychological support,guarantee the stability of job content,thus improve the breastfeeding self-efficacy.2.The second child nurses social support for the moderate level during pregnancy,and breastfeeding self-efficacy and the close relationship between social support,especially the support and subjective and objective two dimensional correlation is higher,therefore should focus on two foetuses pregnancy nurses’ subjective and objective support,good social support level is used to improve the breastfeeding self-efficacy. |
