Objective:This study investigated the status of maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy beforedelivery, described the influence factors of maternal breastfeeding self-efficacybefore delivery. To determine the effects of quality management circle activity formaternal postpartum six weeks of breastfeeding self-efficacy and provide the basisfor obstetric carry out quality management circle activity. To observe the prenatal andpostnatal breastfeeding self-efficacy scores change, explore prenatal breastfeedingself-efficacy scores of infant feeding way during6weeks postpartum. Methods:This article is an experimental research, based on260cases of full term pregnantwomen to give breastfeeding self-efficacy, general information, social support, breastfeeding knowledge questionnaire,241valid questionnaires of back datacompilation, analysis the influence factors of maternal breastfeeding self-efficacybefore delivery. From which included106cases of maternal according to the wardwas divided into observation group and control group, each group of53cases, actual97effective questionnaires were taken back,(the intervention group is49and thecontrol group is48), the intervention group is given the Quality Control Circleintervention from the hospital for delivery to6weeks postpartum maternal, while thecontrol group with routine health education for breastfeeding, with6weekspostpartum telephone follow-up after discharge, then to compare both tow groups ofmaternal postpartum6weeks with breastfeeding self-efficacy changes before deliveryand the difference between infant feeding way, to explore self-efficacy scoredifference between different time points, analysis of breastfeeding self-efficacy scoresand the relationship between the6weeks postpartum infant feeding way. Descriptiveanalysis, t-test, analysis of variance and rank and inspection, Pearson correlationanalysis, multiple linear regression, Logistic regression analysis were used inanalyzing data. Results: 1. Breastfeeding self-efficacy scores ranges is36~145, the average is94.32(SD=21.52), five items of the highest score are followed by items17,6,7,18,20,five items of the lowest score are followed by items25,9,14,13,26, the skilldimension score ranges is16~70, the average is45.03(SD=11.20), the emotiondimension score ranges is19~75, the average is49.29(SD=11.16).2. The related factors of breastfeeding self-efficacy scores before delivery isbreastfeeding knowledge source, feeding way, emotion before delivery, plan lactationtime, whether seen others breastfeeding, whether planned pregnancy, whether theythink milk shortage, lover’s attitude toward breastfeeding, social support score, breastfeeding knowledge score by one-way ANOVA.The10factors under differentconditions, the difference of breastfeeding self-efficacy have statistical significance.3. The factors of maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy before delivery ofmulti-factor analysis is breastfeeding knowledge source, feeding way, the antenatalemotion, plan lactation time, whether they think milk shortage, social support score, lover’s attitude toward breastfeeding are get into equation; In the feeding skillsdimension, breastfeeding knowledge source, feeding way, mood before delivery, planlactation time, whether they think milk shortage, social support score, whether seenothers breastfeeding are get into the equation; In the emotion dimension, the plan forlactation time, lover’s attitude toward breastfeeding, social support score, and thethought for insufficient milk are get into the equation.4. Observation of the influence of intervention in106questionnaires,97validquestionnaires taken back, two groups of prenatal breastfeeding self-efficacy scoresare no difference (P>0.05), and at6weeks postpartum survey found that the addedvalue of observation group scored higher than the control group, the difference wasstatistically significant (P <0.05), the difference of two groups of breastfeeding levelwas statistically significant (P <0.05), the observation group is significantly higherthan the control group; the points of breastfeeding self-efficacy in different times wassignificant difference (P<0.01),6weeks postpartum scored significantly higher thanbefore delivery.5. Breastfeeding self-efficacy scores antenatal can be used to predict infantfeeding way for6weeks postpartum, once it increase1point, the possibility of breastfeeding is1.027times that of the mixed feed/artificial feeding, increase thebreastfeeding self-efficacy scores before delivery can improve the level ofbreastfeeding.Conclusion:1. The antenatal breastfeeding self-efficacy level is slightly lower than domesticBeijing, Fujian, and lower than Brazil and Spain. Average score in all dimensionsshow that the skill dimension is below the emotion dimension.2. Breastfeeding knowledge source, the baby feeding way, the antenatal emotion, plan lactating time, whether seen others breastfeeding, pregnancy whether planned, whether milk shortage, lover’s attitude toward breastfeeding, social support, breastfeeding knowledge are affected the antenatal breastfeeding self-efficacy scores.3. The Quality Control Circle intervention used in the full term pregnancy canimprove the breastfeeding self-efficacy and breastfeeding; Breastfeeding self-efficacyscores in different time have differences, along with postpartum nursing for the scorehas a tendency to improve.4. The antenatal breastfeeding self-efficacy scores can be used for predicting thefeeding way for6weeks baby.
