Observation Of Clinical Effect Of Huoxue Sanjie Recipe In Curing Children's Adenoidal Hypertrophy Qi And Blood Stasis Symptom

Objective:In this study,we observed the clinical efficacy of Huoxue Sanjie Recipe in treating children with adenoid hypertrophy and qi blood stasis syndrome,and compared the changes of symptoms,adenoid volume and quality of life assessment scores before and after treatment.And mometasone furoate nasal spray was combined with montelukast sodium chewable tablets for comparison.The study provides a basis to treat adenoid hypertrophy in child ren with traditional chinese medicine.Methods:Eighty children with adenoid hypertrophy and qi blood stasis syndrome were divided into treatment group and control group by using a random number table method.The treatment group were given orally to Huoxue Sanjie Recipe,and the control group were given mometasone furoate nasal spray combined with montelukast sodium chewable tablets,4 weeks for 1 course,a total of 2 courses of treatment.The patients were followed up for 4 weeks and 8 weeks,and the changes of clinical symptoms,adenoid volume and quality of life assessment scores were recorded and analyzed.Results:After 8 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate was 87.5%in the treatment group and 70%in the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Intragroup comparison:The two groups were compared with the pre-treatment scores after 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment,in main symptoms(nasal ccongestion,sleep snoring,mouth breathing),total scores of main symptoms,total scores of secondary disease,adenoid volume and quality of life assessment scores.There was a significant decrease(P<0.01).Comparison between groups:After 4 weeks of treatment,the two groups were compared in main symptom single scores,main symptom total scores,secondary disease scores,and quality of life assessment scores,P>0.05.It indicated that after 4 weeks of treatment,the two groups had obvious curative effects in improving clinical symptoms and quality of life,but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant.After 8 weeks of treatment,the two groups were compared in terms of sleep snoring,single breath scores,secondary syndrome scores,adenoid volume scores,and quality of life assessment scores,P<0.05;single scores in nasal congestion,total scores of main symptoms,total treatment In terms of points,P<0.01.This indicated that the two groups could significantly improve clinical symptoms,reduce adenoid volume and improve quality of life after 8 weeks of treatment,and the treatment group was more effective,especially in the single scores of nasal congestion,total scores of main symptoms and total scores of treatment.Conclusion:Huoxue Sanjie Recipe can significantly alleviate the clinical symptoms,reduce the volume of adenoids hypertrophy and improve the quality of life,and the clinical efficacy is definite.
