Observation Of The Effect Of "Nape Seven Needles" On The Intervention Of High Normal Blood Pressure

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of “Nape Seven Needles” in the intervention of high normal blood pressure.Methods: 60 cases of high normal blood pressure were randomly divided into “Nape Seven Needles” group(treatment group)and routine acupuncture group(control group).The changes of blood pressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome score of two groups before and after intervention were compared,and the curative effect was evaluated.Results: The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)in the total effect of blood pressure and the total curative effect of clinical symptoms;the difference of systolic pressure,diastolic pressure and TCM syndrome score in the two groups after 8 weeks was statistically significant(P<0.05);two groups of systolic pressure and TCM syndrome scores were compared after 8 weeks of intervention,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in diastolic pressure between the two groups after 8 weeks(P>0.05).Conclusion: “Nape Seven Needles”and routine acupuncture group can effectively reduce the blood pressure of patients with high normal blood pressure and improve TCM clinical symptoms,but“Nape Seven Needles”group is better than routine acupuncture group in reducing systolic blood pressure and improving clinical symptoms.
