The Clinical Observation On Depression With "Nape Seven Depression With "Nape Seven Needles"

Objective: To observe the differences of clinical efficacy between Nape Seven Needles and conventional acupuncture on the treatment of depression,and to further summarize the clinical advantages and disadvantages of Nape Seven Needles treatment for despression.Methods: Sixty patients with threatened apoplexy were selected and divided randomly into treatment group and control group.The treatment group received “Nape Seven Needles”therapy,while the control group received ordinary acupuncture therapy.Respectively before and after treatment Hamilton Depression Rating Scale score and Self-Rating Depression Scale score.Results: After 4weeks of treatment,the effective rate of “Nape Seven Needles”group was 93.3%,while the comparison group was 86.7%.Dealt with statistics,there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).Compared with ordinary acupuncture,the“Nape Seven Needles”therapy showed differences in three aspects of HAMD factor score,including anxiety or somatization symptom,recognition and blockage((P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Both of “Nape Seven Needles”therapy and acupuncture treatment have clinical effect on depression.2.Compared with ordinary acupuncture,the “Nape Seven Needles”therapy has an advantage in improving some factors score,and it deserves research.
