An Applicated Research Of RBRVS In The Evaluation Of Nursing Performance In A Tertiary Hospital In Erdos

Objective:To explore the application of RBRVS in nursing performance evaluation in Erdos hospital from the perspective of nurses,which may provide more suggestions to improve the nursing performance and summarize some experience for RBRVS application.Methods:(1)Through literature review and self-designed indicators,our research group used the Delphi method to conduct 2 rounds of consultation among30 experts from 2 hospitals,to establish an indicator system and randomly select 150 clinical nurses to fill it in order to evaluate the recognition of RBRVS by them;(2)To compare the average bonus of 34 clinical departments,the cost of 131 returned visited patients and 15 nursing operations between before and after 6 months of RBRVS application.Results:(1)In two rounds of surveys,the rates of questionnaire retrieve were 100% and 78.57% respectively.The authoritative coefficients were 0.816 and0.813;the coordination coefficients were 0.252 and 0.140.The indicator system consisted of 5 first-level indicators and 17 second-level indicators.(2)The clinical nurses had higher recognition of RBRVS,such as departments,age,education,professional title,position and work years can affect the recognition,and the differences were significant(P <0.05),while marriage and gender had no statistical significance on the recognition(P > 0.05);(3)There were significant differences between the average bonus of clinical departments,the cost of returned visited patients and nursing operations(P < 0.05).Conclusion :(1)With the concept of work-based,RBRVS can more scientifically and reasonably reflect the labor value of nurses.(2)RBRVS which is based on Relative Value Unit can stimulate nurses to develop new techniques effectively;(3)As performance has nothing to do with the cost of materials,RBRVS can effectively change the concept of nurses and more regulate the behavior.
