Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the treatment about the lumbar disc herniation on lumbar jiaji acupoint deep stab injection with ozone water and to provide basis for clinical application.Methods: 76 cases who were up to the standard of lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into three groups.25 cases were in the ozone water group,25 cases were in the sodium chloride group and 26 cases were in the compound betamethasone group.Three groups were stabed combing with epidural imaging technology under the C arm guiding.Ozone water group were injected with 8 ml ozone water which the concentration is 20 ?g/ml.Sodium chloride group were injected with 8 ml 0.9% sodium chloride solution.And compound betamethasone group were injected with 8 ml compound betamethasone mixture.Three groups were treated one time each week,and 3times as a period of treatment.Evaluate curative effect(visual analogue scale,the straight leg-raising angle,JOA low back pain score)and safety index(adverse reactions)before and after treatment.Result:1.Baseline comparison: The ozone water group,sodium chloride group and the compound betamethasone group had no statistical differences in the age,sex,course of disease(P>0.05).Three groups before treatment had no statistical difference in visual analogue scale,the straight leg-raising angle,and JOA low back pain score(P>0.05).It suggests that three groups had the comparability.2.Comparison of curative effect2.1 Comparison within groupsThe differences between the before treatment and after treatment of three groups had statistical significance in visual analogue scale,the straight leg-raising angle,JOA low back pain scores(P<0.05).2.2 Comparison Between GroupsThe difference between ozone water group and compound betamethasone group had no statistical significance in visual analogue scale,the straight leg-raising angle and JOA low back pain scores(P>0.05).Both Ozone water group and the compound betamethasone group had significant differences with sodium chloride group in visual analogue scale,the straight leg-raising angle and JOA low back pain scores(P<0.05).2.3 Comparison of efficiencyThe effective rate of ozone water group was 91.7%,and sodium chloride group was20.8%,compound betamethasone group was 87.5%.Ozone water group compared with compound betamethasone group having no statistical difference(P>0.05);Both the ozone water group and the compound betamethasone group compared with sodium chloride group having statistical difference(P<0.05).3.Comparison of securityOzone water group and sodium chloride group had no adverse reactions,and the security level was 0.Compound betamethasone group had mild adverse reactions occured on 3 patients who were returned to normal after a rest,safety level were 1,level of other21 cases were 0.Conclusion:1.Deep injection ozone water,sodium chloride or compound betamethasone mixture on lumbar jiaji acupoint can relieve pain and improve function in patients with lumbar disc herniation.2.Curative effect of injection with ozone water is good as injection with compound betamethasone mixture,both is better than injection with sodium chloride.3.The safety of injection with ozone water and sodium chloride on lumbar jiaji acupoint is better than injection with compound betamethasone mixture.4.Comprehensive consideration,injection with ozone water on lumbar jiaji acupoint is better than injection with compound betamethasone mixture and sodium chloride in the curative effect and safety.It is worthy popularizing in the clinical application.
